Shima is the solo project of Kirsten Carey, and an exploration into Carey's version of doom metal. Let's all find out how loud and intimidating one lady with a guitar and microphone can be while still singing pretty melodies.

Carey was recently featured on Clean Feed Records' release I Never Meta Guitar III, curated by Elliott Sharp. Her other projects include Joycean free jazz sutie The Ulysses Project and avant-punk duo Throwaway.
