Fusing together beautiful, soulful vocals with Glitchy / Downtempo / Trip Hop / Drum 'n' Bass / Psychedelic breakbeat grooves, incorporating guitars and flute in the mix to give it a natural, organic flavour.

Deep vibes with melodic overtones and groovy undertones to excite the senses. 

 

In 2000, L ROY X emerged as a talented DJ with a unique sound and style in the NC EDM scene. It wasn't until joining GruvGlu Studios in 2002 however, that LROY began to build his name up and down the East coast as a DJ 
and promoter. LROY has opened for everyone from Bassnectar, Kraddy, Ooah, SOTEG, and Carbon Community to Reid Speed, 
Calyx, Aquasky, and Jackal & Hyde to name a few.
After taking a few years hiatus, to re-define himself as a person, LROY has returned to the scene to re-define himself 
as an artist with original productions suitable for any occasion from destroying a dance floor to skating down the street. 
Forged in adversity, LROY's music delivers a unique blend of raw emotion and high energy audio manipulation.

Elemental Mesh is the unified project of Wyldcard and Bellz. Just over six months ago their creative paths crossed, and the result is a musical mesh of experimental production, rapping, singing and beyond. Observational lyrics are interspersed with soft harmonies and raw beats to produce a sound and stage presence bursting with chemistry. 

Merging the elements of air and water, as well as many contrasting genres, this eclectic mix provides a hypnotising balance to the listener. These two souls have arrived at a symbiotic collision which captivates crowds in a way unlike any other act. Observe the Elemental Mesh, as it continues to morph, evolve and switch up its chemical components.

From the early days of the free party scene from brickworks to caves to beaches Ive been there filling generaters banging tent pegs ,laying cables carrying soundsystems  known as "Jim the WaterMan" wandering the party with a waterbutt and cup on a string hydrating party people for fun and spliffs,to making music with 303s samplers and drum machines,putting on Chill Sites at festivals in Tipis djing till dawn,to having a little club in our bassment with brick dj booth, to being in bands nobody heard of playing keyboards,to ,moving to Manchester partying at Bugged out ,to having our own collective putting party nighs on ,to moving to the countryside ,to having an accident  having to walk with sticks no more dancing the night away,so here still djing in my living room with cool tunes I find with my family and cats keeping it real,I do the mixes for me to play in our van and my workshop,I love to share them with you and to bigup the talented folk who make the tunes ,theres so much cool music out there,Im just doing my bit.Enjoy life its the only one you have :}Jim.....
