Dutch edit maestro Pete Blaker debuts on RNT with a pair of extended play summertime heaters! LOVE AND DEVOTION has been a staple in Harvey’s sets this year, and for good reason; it’s quite simply a disco banger of legendary proportions that reaches peak after peak in the course of its nearly 16 glorious minutes. On the flip DISOC takes us on a deep and mystical journey, with pulsing bass, shimmery synth and guitar work, swirling strings building to a climactic vocal hook. It's time to set those jaws to wobble mode as this funky favourite label is back with more serious sounds for the disco, this time from Hysteric. 'Italo Mystery Theme' is a brilliant timewarp to the 80s with its overtly streamy and seductive vocals over neat guitars and stepping disco drums with lush chords. 'After Dark' is more breezy and hip-swinging with its airy vocals and wet claps, then 'Sugar Daddy Again' brings rugged analogue bass sounds and snappy drums under some erotic vocal work. 'All Right' shuts down with a UK street soul-cum-disco groover that's lit up with nice neon chords.

Danny Parton and Mike Parton offer up ‘Jolene 07’ a split A/B side record with two cuts from both producers on each side, showcasing the French touch sound the imprint has become known and loved for.

Danny Parton takes the lead on the a-side, kicking off with ‘Bunch’ and perfectly setting the tone for the record with thunderous drums, saturated choppy synth bass, gritty percussion and intricately processed vocal samples.
‘Point’ follows next and leans into a more airy, brighter aesthetic via squelchy 303 licks, an amalgamation of intertwined vocal chops, sweeping resonant synth lines, organic drums and weight subs throughout.

Mike Parton follows on the B-side, laying down ‘Touch’ first, a deep house excursion fuelled by swinging, crisp drums, billowing atmospherics, twitchy stab sequences intertwined with winding low-end tones and astutely programmed vocal samples.
‘Go To The Moon’ then rounds out the release on a jazzy house tip, laid out across five and a half minutes with fluttering keys, sweeping filtered synths, a dynamically evolving rhythm section and dreamy spoken word vocal lines.
