Miukkah tager sit musikalske udspring fra det afrikanske kontinent, men henter også inspiration fra Balkanmusikken, blues og jazz . Improvisation og intensitet er nøgleord, og skønt der en gang i mellem bliver lidt højt til loftet, er musikken uden tvivl dansabel. Oktetten består af guitar(Nichlas Kure), tenorsaxofon(Frederik Engell)Altsaxofon (Asger Uttrup Nissen), Trompet(Håkon Guttormsen), Basun (Paakow Tawiah), Orgel (Peter Sabroe), Kontrabas(Jonatan Bak) og trommer (Simon Forchhammer). 

Michael Ellis is the union of two fabled creatures who perform instrumental excursions to unknown, colorful realms, while dressed in suits and masks. Their music is energetic and grandiose, with inspiration from heavy metal, math rock and game soundtracks.
