“Music is a cultural thing that connects all people, why limit them to one genre?”  Rush thrives on merging different genres to create rich new sounds. This pursuit of innovative sound has translated into an eclectic knowledge of music from hip hop, to rock, pop, funk, and more.

At the early age of 14, Rush recognized his passion and was determined to make his way in the industry.  He got his start in the local club scene and quickly became infatuated with the ability to entertain people with the music he loved. By age 18, he was an on-air radio DJ at local Southern California stations such as: U92.7 , Wild 96.1, 99.1 KGGI, 100.3 The Beat., and most recently featured as a guest DJ on LA’s hottest station, Power 106. Rush is continually humbled by the opportunity to be able to introduce new music and connect with the artists he admires.
 
This young veteran has made a name for himself amongst some of the top recording artists as a taste-maker. Those many years of radio cultivated “the ear” and his innate ability to pick  what records will be a hit before anyone else. Rush has a passion for staying ahead of the trends, and lives by the motto; “If someone is going right then I’m going left.”

He was quickly noticed for his ingenuity and natural talent of engaging large crowds. In 2007, Christian Audigier chose Rush as the official DJ for all Ed Hardy events.  That U.S. tour took him to over 50 major cities where celebrities such as Diddy, The Game, Michael Jordan, Kim Kardashian, Justin Timberlake, and many more took notice and chose him to DJ their high profile events.  From the largest parties and clubs in the country to corporate events for MTV, Interscope Records, TMobile, Us Weekly, and Grammy Gifting suites; Rush does it all.

Rush’s experience in the clubs, on-air, and on tour has translated into adrenaline-fueled open format performances that leave crowds craving more.
