Poookieboo’s new single “Foreplay” is a reintroduction to her as an artist. Although the message is plain as day, she is also referencing more than just the temptation and desire built from making someone “wait” for intimacy. One could say it is a reference to how she makes her audience wait, for what feels like ages, for new music. From what we can hear, it’s almost always worth the wait.
