Having recently stumbled across rising Sydney electronica producer Belu earlier this year and his brilliant 'How It Is' EP (https://soundcloud.com/belu/sets/how-it-is-ep), we pencilled him in as the perfect artist to remix some tracks off BANFF's debut EP 'Future Self'. A few emails later, Belu was sending through early mixes of his remix work on BANFF's debut EP and we knew he was onto something special.

Being his first foray into remix work, Belu (real name Beau Cummins) said: "I didn't have a particular method or process when approaching the project and think that was the most interesting and exciting part. I was able to work on the tracks without considering my preconceived ideas about what the remix should be or what I wasn't allowed to do". 

Having discussed with BANFF the ideas and meaning behind his tracks on 'Future Self', Belu's first effort was a remix of BANFF's latest single 'All Again'. 'The remix ended up sounding vastly different to the original song, though was still an expression of the same idea (as originally crafted by BANFF)" says Beau, "I enjoyed digging deep into the stems from the original tracks and using some elements that were less prominent in the original songs and turning them into focal points in the remix". 

The result is a smooth and sultry re-interpretation of 'All Again' underpinned by a pulsing beat and incorporating various percussion sounds from the original - whether that be a snare hit or a shaker - and if you listen closely enough to 'All Again' (Remixed) you'll be able to hear them throughout.
