Butter Side Up is one of the most reliably high-quality labels operating at the moment, privileging quality over quantity in some of the prettiest packages you’ll see (thanks to their enduring collaboration with designer Sophie Douala). The latest EP from Stockholm’s Basement Space continues this streak, leaning into the more musically and rhythmically interesting side of house and breaks. The broken beat force is strong with this one, but what really stands out is the incorporation of rave gestures into the equation, be it crafty sirens and lasers or pulsing acid on the B side or the rolling hip-house groove and scratches on the lead track ‘Cosmonaut’. We’ve picked ‘Equilibrium’, with its sophisticated jazzy breaks, taking our imagination to a beachfront situation. This is music being made with intelligence, shot through with a real sense of fun, and all backed up by serious musical chops.

Legwork is back with a new single from our favourite cosmic crusader, Brother Nebula. 

The A-side consists of a tape-crushed lysergic stormer, on which the Brother helps us to be mindful, and a couple of useful DJ tools from the same session. The B-side starts with a broken affair with pensive chords floating around bleeps and sounds of the universe, and finishes with a dubbed-out version of the previously-released and extremely well-received S.I.S. featuring San Francisco stalwart Solar.

SO... for those of you who only have discovered InFiné recently, RONE aka Erwan Castex has released his first LP “Spanish Breakfast” in 2009 almost one year after“Bora”, his debut EP. His album was illustrated by a video of Vladimir Mavounia-Kouka cristallizing on screen the dreamy and tormented atmospheres of his productions. 
SO…in 2011, Rone will return in full force after a two-year break and the release of his much-awaited second full-length effort. 
SO ... " So So So" is the name of his coming EP to be released 9th May on InFiné.

Today we host our friend from London, Lamâche, through a really suttle and underground playlist. Listen to this electronic flow, gently mixed on vinyls only for your hears. A good way to begin the week. 
Thibaut Machet a.k.a. Lamache originally from Toulouse, started playing young within the industry. Influenced by underground and electronic music, he has progressed rapidly through the world of DJ’s.
As a driven individual wholly invested in his passion for music, he moved to Paris in 2008 to seek new horizons which included studying electronic culture and sound technician. At the same time as discovering the best bars and clubs in Paris he continued his studies at «SAE Institute Paris » school of sound engineering.
After working many events, he has sucessfully progressed in co-organising pre parties named « Prête Moi Tes Lunettes » which proved a great success where he now welome of the best DJs in the capital to. This has enabled him to play in some of the new and upcoming places in the Paris including club Showcase, Rex club, Downtown and Culture Hall next to ome of the big names in the industry.
Working hard for the last few years, he has finally found his place as a member of « Toi Toi Musik » where now he is no longer just an artist but a true friend to the organisation. Having already played many dates in London and even more set for the future he is becoming one of the resident DJs for Toi Toi Musik alongside Voigtmann, Daze Maxim & Jan Krueger.
This is just the beginning for Lamache, who is definately a rising DJ to look out for in the future.

Magic Panda creates ethereal and energetic electronic compositions, peppered with broken percussion and wistful melodies which swirl around a warm techno pulse and Tokyo is the perfect embodiment of this aesthetic.

Tokyo is a bold statement of intent showcasing the future direction Magic Panda is heading in. It is a beautiful, shimmering and propulsive merging of Border Community inspired techno and understated Lo-Fi-but-not-lazy shoegaze energy.

It is the first single from his forthcoming full length Tigerbeat6 Album "Temple of a thousand lights" and includes a stellar collection of remixes from Max Cooper, Kid606, Groj, Lanny May, Defled, and Mary Yalex.

2011-12 has seen Magic Panda developing his studio sound and live set up and he has enjoyed high profile concerts in the UK and across Europe, playing alongside the likes of Luke Abbott, Ricardo Tobar, The Portico Quartet, Mount Kimbie and DMX Krew.

First up on remix duties is none other than Max Cooper (Traum / Herzblut.) Max puts to work his unique blend of glitch-fused techno on 'Distant Places' , taking listeners on a melancholic journey through light and dark spaces. Kid606 steps things up with a 110 bpm high energy rework of Tokyo that strips the original of it's four on the floor pulse in lieu of a more laid-back 808 hip-hop groove.

Canadian artist Groj (Traum, Manual Music, Proton Music, and Zaubernuss) slows things down with his psychedelia-tinged interpretation of Tokyo, sparse percussion and swirly analog synths abound in this haunting sonic adventure.

Berlin-based Lanny May (Manual, Cinematique, Maripoza, Back Home) picks up the tempo with his pulsating remix. He deconstructs Tokyo in a sea of reverb and saturates it with his recognizable fusion of asymmetric rhythms and synths.

The EP is wrapped up nicely with two remix's of "A perfect circle"; A Haunting rework by Mallorcan producer Defled and a beautiful minimalist reconstruction by Mary Yalex.
