Organically Good Trio is a Hammond organ driven roots instrumental group out of Boston.  The band has two main influences - Soul Jazz and Roots Reggea.  Sometimes the sound is reminiscent of the great organ trio albums of the late  60's, and at other times sounds like a Jackie Mittoo album

In 2012, I was struck by a colon cancer and to overcome my feelings of vulnerability during my chemo treatments which ended last January 3, 2013, I composed a musical suite called Celebrating life that contains 13 pieces (one for each of the 12 treatments plus a virtual encore  :-) ) . In february 7, after a series of tests, my doctor declare me a cancer survival l!!

But you know, I had a life before :-)  So,  I would like to introduce myself briefly!

I started to play clarinet at 12 years old  (now I am 60). After being a self learner for 5 years, I studied clarinet at the Montreal Conservatory from 1970 to 73 (classical music was not for me). Then I started my jazz career  from 1974 to 1984. During that period of time, I produce 3 records (they were called LP at the time :-)  ). The peak of my jazz musician career was to win the Montreal International Jazz Festival contest 1984. Then … nothing … I stopped to play clarinet for 20 years… why? Too long to explain … I restarted to play clarinet in 2004… I am glad I did so. Now, I am a part time musicians playing just to enjoy it. I have started to do collaborations with some of the Soundcloud community member and I enjoyed very much the experience! Looking forward to do more colabs in a near future!

En 2012, j'ai été atteint par un cancer du colon et pour vaincre mon sentiment de vulnérabilité pendant mes traitements de chimio qui ont terminés 3 janvier 2013, j'ai composé cette suite musicale de 13 pièces musicales (une pour chacun des 12 traitements plus un rappel virtuel). Le 7 février 2013, suite à une série de test, mon médecin déclara que tout était revenu à la normale pour moi

Comme vous le savez, j’ai eu une autre vie avant :-). Alors, j’aimerais me présenter brièvement :

 J'ai commencé à jouer la clarinette à l'âge de 12 ans (maintenant je viens d’avoir 60 ans ). Après avoir été musicien autodidacte pendant 5 ans, je suis allé étudier la clarinette au Conservatoire de Montréal de 1970 à 73 (musique classique n'était pas pour moi). Puis j'ai commencé ma carrière de jazz au Canada de 1974 à 1984. Au cours de cette période de temps, j'ai enregistré 3 disques (ils étaient appelés LP à l’époque). Le point culminant de ma carrière de musicien de jazz a été de remporter le concours du Festival International de Jazz de Montréal  1983. 
Et après ... rien ... Je me suis arrêté de jouer la clarinette pendant 20 ans ... pourquoi? Trop long à expliquer ... Je recommençai à jouer la clarinette en 2004 ... Je suis très contant d’avoir recommencé. Maintenant, je suis un musicien à temps partiel qui jouent juste pour le plaisir de jouer. J'ai commencé à faire des collaborations avec  des membres de la communauté Soundcloud et j'ai beaucoup apprécié l'expérience! Au plaisir de faire plusieurs collaborations  dans un futur rapproché!

DJ Frankie Vibe is an Soulful/Gospel House Mix Show DJ who has been a DJ for 22 years and has always been fascinated with the fact that people of all shades of color would come together under one roof just for the love of house music. He is a teacher to all of the lovers of House Music that they are loved and helping them to stay encouraged thru the Gospel House sound in these trying times. From Oct 2001-May 2004 DJ Frankie Vibe had the opportunity to feature the Gospel House sound on the radio air waves with a mix show called House of Inspirations on 89.1 WFDU-FM based out of Teaneck, NJ on the campus of Fairleigh Dickinson University, where he did many interviews of those who have performed or produced the Inspirational House sound. Artists like Kenny Bobien, Dawn Tallman, Viola Sykes, Lorenzo Tyler, SuSu Bobien, Edward Nicholas, Bro Talipharoah (RIP) and with those who have produced Inspirational House singles featuring: Carlos Sanchez, Glenn Thornton and Dennis Ferrer. He is available to any music festival or event that is interested in featuring this genre of House Music. He has spun on college radio 89.1 WFDU-FM (NJ), 91.7 WKDU-FM (Philadelphia) and on commercial radio 98 WJLB-FM (Detroit), La Nueva 88.3FM (Miami), WHCR-FM 90.3 (Harlem) as well as regional events including The Lincoln Park Music Festival(NJ), Clover Festival(MI), Cornerstone Festival(IL) and at afterparties at the Detroit Electronic Music Festival.
