DE/VISION - Bipolar (Intuition's Alive Remix)

Garrett Miles is an American singer-songwriter who was born in Phoenix, Arizona as the eldest of four children. When he was four years old, his family moved to Mesa, Arizona. Garrett’s strong passion for electronic pop music grew, when he discovered bands like Depeche Mode, U2 and ERASURE as a teenager. He got “hooked” for life after being fascinated by the exceptional drum programming and "these digital sounds," referring to the analog arpeggiated sounds at first, as well as the catchy electronic melodies.

New to dealing with keyboards, Garrett Miles met Mark Matson, a producer at Salt Mine Studios in Phoenix at the time, in the 90’s. The two developed a strong friendship and Mark became a mentor to Garrett, teaching him everything from music production to song writing.

In 2000, while Garrett was in his band WORLD CONSPIRACY, he met Ken Porter. Ken had heard Garrett's early works and identified with his melodic songwriting and his expressive tenor singing voice. The two decided to join forces and to start working on a new project. With this the band INTUITION, which has released several albums to date, was born. The year 2007 marked a highlight for the band, after they were offered to support the German electro-pop band DE/VISION, a strong fixture in the indie genre, to accompany them as part of their European tour.

In the following years, Garrett and Ken kept consistently developing their songwriting and production skills. Steffen, the singer of DE/VISION, was impressed by Garrett’s singing voice and the consistent, high-quality musical output from INTUITION. In 2013, he suggested to collaborate with Garrett and Ken, in which Garrett and his charismatic voice should be the centerpiece of the project. The result of this collaboration is the new single "SAVE ME.”
