Das neue Jahr 2018 beginnt für DE/VISION phänomenal: Das 30jährige Dienstjubiläum steht an! Eine 30 kann sich wahrlich nicht jede Band auf den Rücken schreiben. DE/VISION feiern dies am Wochenende des 13./14. April 2018 in ihrer Heimatstadt Berlin.

Zum Einen wird ihr neues Album „City Beats“ am 13. April erscheinen. Zum Anderen spielen Steffen und Thomas gleich zwei Shows im Columbia Theater wie folgt:

Am Abend des 13. April 2018 (Freitag) kommen DE/VISION dem Wunsch zahlreicher Fans nach und spielen ein rein elektronisches Set nur mit Songs aus den ersten vier 90er-Jahre-Alben „World without end“, „Unversed in love“, „Fairyland“ und „Monosex“. Ausgerechnet diesen Albumtitel hatte sich seinerzeit Ex-Bandmitglied Markus Ganßert „in der Badewanne“ ausgedacht. Und eben jener Mann wird an diesem Abend an den Tasten stehen - zum ersten Mal seit 18 Jahren!

Der zweite Abend des 14. April 2018 (Samstag) steht dann ganz im Zeichen des neuen Albums „City Beats“. DE/VISION werden an diesem Abend das Album zum erstenmal live präsentieren - hier in gewohnter Manier mit Schlagzeuger Markus Köstner. Natürlich dürfen auch an diesem Abend ältere Hits nicht fehlen.

Nach Ende der Live-Shows wird aber niemand nach Hause gebeten: Bekannte DJs werden für weitere City Beats auf der After-Show-Party in selbiger Lokalität sorgen.

"Sonic Revelations" , formerly known as "A sound revealed", is a home studio project, combining synthpop, futurepop and dark ambient soundtracks (like science fiction ones). I am writing my own music since 20 years! As i have many many influences from the 80s and future pop bands, there is of course Depeche Mode, Wolfsheim, And One (and so on) who inspire me. Also there are some persons that i think are great producers and engineers like Nick Rhodes , Alan Wilder , Trevor Horn , Howard Jones (great musician,  synth wizard and piano player) .
