Since the garden of Eden God has wanted to have a relationship with His creation; you.  We need to get in right position with God.  God disciplines those He loves.  He does not hate on us, He loves us and has amazing plans for us.  If we listen to God and receive his wisdom we will live in safety and He will make Himself known to us.

In this wisdom moment found in Proverbs 3: 11-12 “My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline, and do not resent his rebuke, because the Lord disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in.” The word despise means to regard with contempt, distaste, disgust, or disdain; scorn; loathe.  They continue speaking of the Lord’s discipline and some of the many ways His discipline comes and how it means the Lord is for us, loves us and has a plan for us; to train us.  We have to guard our hearts so we do not end up resenting the Lord discipline because we don’t have a clear understanding of His heart towards us.   We must remember that God disciplines those He loves.   Proverbs 1:22-23, 33 “How long will you who are simple love your simple ways?  How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge?  Repent at my rebuke!  Then I will pour out my thoughts to you I will make known to you my teachings…whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm.”
