name is James I'm a recording artist who genuinely loves music my roots are hip hop but every now and then I try different things to add versatility to my portfolio overall music is my passion and hope one day to start my own label struGGlife ENT I've opened up for artist such as the Dave Mathews Band as Well As Pearl Jam in my younger days but that hasn't stopped me from doing what I love to do also I've had songs such as time is of the essence which I dropped the beginning of this year 2020 which has sparked a movement and I will be putting it into rotation on all platforms along with a couple other songs that have gotten attention I also will be releasing an album by the name of AVTF which is an Eclectic Album based off of my past experiences and perspectives so surly be on the look out for that I'm my own business manager my brand is called GenePool which I've been in development since 2017 and things are finally coming into fruition I enjoy exploring the world of music and getting to know local people let alone global talent collaborations and so forth hope you take the time to go thru what I have to offer and simply listen to the many styles I produce on this journey all love thank  You !!!

often dreary gothic industrial, electronic, avant-garde, psychedelic, ambient, droning, glitchy, abrasive, synth, textured, layered, lofi, distorted, often improvised, aggressive screeching guitars, bass & drum heavy, soundscapes often running at excessive durations of time. 
meant to be listened to with an ear for detail, attention paid to the dark & foreboding lyrics delivered with vocals not meant to necessarily invoke a sense of enjoyment, because that’s not what art is for. 
art is meant to make you feel something, whether or not that feeling is good varies from person to person. 
i’m told my music is depressing, bleak & disturbing with visual pieces to match.
i can’t exactly argue with that.
however i insist there’s more catharsis to be found in my work than there is doom. 
but such a hopeful conclusion isn’t easily met, amongst themes of trauma, addiction, sex, depravity & can at times be seemingly nihilistic when not being consumed in a proper broader context. 
i never expect anyone to listen to anything all the way through, i know better than to expect that out of people. 
i’m not being a pompous douche nozzle when i say that. 
it’s true that the attention span of humans are shrinking & my inability to cater to their shrunken attention spans is going to alienate a lot of people. 
not my problem.
