Il y a deux ans presque jour par jour, dans le silence assourdissant d'un confinement planétaire, disparaissait un artiste central dans l'histoire de la musique en France. Daniel Bevillacqua alias Christophe attirait tant par la force de ses tubes de la première époque dont les paroles étaient signées Jean-Michel Jarre, que pour ses aventures soniques guidées par son goût du son et des synthétiseurs. Le collectif parisien Deviant Disco co-fondé par Eva Peel vient de sortir "Christophe de jour comme de nuit", une compilation de reprises où l'on croise des gens qu'on connait très bien : Romain Turzi, 
Étienne Jaumet, Charles-Baptiste, Lisa Li Lund, The Man Inside Corinne ou Alex Rossi qui chacun livre sa vision du regretté dandy.

Release party le 4 mai au Rosa Bonheur sur Seine, avant que Deviant Disco ne fasse l'ouverture de Jardin 21 pas loin d'ici, le 4 juin, et surtout avant une soirée hommage à Christophe, programmée le 18 juin à Juvisy-sur-Orge dans l'Essonne où il est né. Et aujourd'hui rien que pour nous sur Tsugi Radio, Eva Peel nous a préparé un mix qui se promène autour de Christophe et de ses héritiers artistiques.

This month Carhartt WIP Radio brings you a show by French DJ, producer and label-owner Jennifer Cardini, consisting of moving material from her label Correspondant. Taking the name from her legendary residency at Paris' Rex Club, Correspondant has released music from artists like Man Power, Vox Low, Javi Redondo, Red Axes, Uriah Klapter and Borusiade. Stylistically the label delves into various electronic styles and tempos, such as techno, house, acid, disco, downbeat, electro, synth-pop, ambient and atmospheric new wave. Before Cardini established Correspondant in 2010, she had already enjoyed a longstanding career as a DJ, with residencies in Parisian clubs like Rex and Le Pulp, and regular guest performances in renowned nightspots like Fabric. As a producer, she has dropped deep, writhing tracks on labels such as Kill The DJ, Crosstown Rebels, and her own brainchild, Correspondant. Enjoy.

heads, a strange penchant for house music and the bizarre. Longhair is the duo made up of Marko aka Homeboy and Bene from Peak & Swift who have begun to amass interest and intrigue as a production outfit. There is an unholy amount of musical ammunition ready to be unleashed upon the innocent world and it’s bloody great. There are a lot of influences from all kinds of genres in Longhair,
it can be 80’s influenced with the synth sounds, the beats are more influenced by Italian dream house of the 90’s, but it has its own vibe now. They really developed a sound of their own, a version of house music that is groovy and danceable but not stressful - with a progressive approach and a softer attitude.
Anyway, as well known figures in the Berlin musical community they built a foundation upon which they will grow...'
