Representing Port Adelaide Records, the Chief Exec Dec holds down the majority of daily operations. On top of producing quality records, he synchronises his own enticing poetry into his work. But it is purely the collaboration of Dec & DaKreecha that naturally brings the best out of both artist.
With a quick, slick, proper Hip-Hop sound & mentality, DaKreecha resembles an intricate narrator in their debut album named,
"Sin City Mutated". It's like a sonic movie that comes with plenty of thrills, but also includes humour in a mysterious theme loosely based on the experience in which 2020 provided.

With the support of the Port, the western suburbs, and the expanding Hip-Hop community in Adelaide, they proceed to build the foundation of Port Adelaide Records on Kaurna land with great acknowledgement of past, present, and emerging generations.

I got the concept for this remix down the same day I worked out last weeks remix of 'Can It Be All So Simple'. I've been saving this beat for ages, I knew I had to use it for a really hardcore sounding track, and when I was looking at the tracklist of 36 Chambers I instantly thought this might go well as a remix. The beat really did end up fitting perfectly to me, the energy went perfectly with the crazy rugged vibe of the original, and the drum patterns all matched etc, this was another track that had me bugging out, and really motivated and inspired to go all the way and remix the whole album, which I can't wait to share. I think the two singles I've released act as a good representation of the two main vibes I'm going for: that more nostalgic soulful vibe, and that roughneck hardcore boom bap style that fits the Wu so well, lots of crossover between the two as well.

I went all out on this one, wanted it to hit hard being the intro for the album. originally it was just the second beat all the way through for all the verses. I thought it was a cool remix but it got boring to me and the laid back keys didn't fit the hyped up energy of the acapella. Because of that I completely changed the start, using this beat which has way more energy to it. The drums are very hectic but I think that fit the in-your face feel that this song has, and the guitar is simple but hits hard. This then made the second beat act as a nice break/breather, and I then pitched down the first beat to bring it back in over the second beat towards the end.

Knew I had to include this beat on the project, fits the Wu vibes perfectly imo. Originally had this as the beat for Shame, but decided to scrap that and use it for this interlude, cause I thought it fit the dark vibe of what's going on. Also I'm still really happy with the Shabazz remix I have over this beat, so I didn't see the need to do another full remix straight away.

After a success of an album that was "Late Travel" Kelekam finds himself defining what it means to face the cards you've been dealt after having life taken from you and taking it back one record at a time, while this album has been in development since 2019, in October of 2019 Kelekam suddenly needed to be hospitalized after a what should have been a lethal overdose of prescribed sleeping medication, preventing production of Late Travel 2 for at least 3 months. In those months many decisions were made as to what this album would become today, and it simply wouldn't exist if no one was going to listen to it, as it overtime became more of an expectation of Kam to follow up with, as listeners could not get enough of that pure New York sound that at the time only had less than 20 songs to listen to of that kind. This album is recommended to those who can't stand being treated as a nobody anymore, people who are more hungry than the ones that treat Hip Hop as hustle and nothing more, in hopes to inspire dope MC's and artists all over the globe. The ascension that is Late Travel 2 is exactly what the world needs in these times, as tomorrow is never for certain, don't waste all your time trying to do what you think should make sense and simply do what you know, the saturation of saying the same old thing about an album and feeling the same way after listening is what Late Travel is in hopes to change, Growth Starts With Change.
