Stars From Tidal_part2

So, our friend (assuming he really is our friend) is no longer alone at home. The work week is over, it’s been a hard one. Maybe for both of them: for him, and for the woman now leaning out the window. There’s a touch of unease in the air, and it’s not necessarily connected to how things are going between them. Maybe something is about to happen. Or maybe not. The only sure thing is that they’re not interested in finding out.

This is the fourth in a series of eight easy, acoustic, rather short, and deliberately inconclusive tracks, assembled by combining new ideas with reworked older material, adding parts and sounds along the way. This time I struggled to make it to the end, adding and removing, changing and restoring and working to the mix. I probably messed things up a bit (thirty recorded tracks, twenty of them muted...), but never mind.

In case nothing happens - part 4 (late afternoon)*

I was originally going to play guitar and hire a singer. The hired singer didn't work out and my guitar sucked so I sang this. Which my vocals came out pretty good for some reason usually they suck and are way out of key. About 10% of this is autotuned the rest is natural. Because of nobody ever helping me make music and the expense of hiring people I had to just give up and leave this song where it is instead of working on it more and improving. Nobody donates anything or helps in any way with the music so there are serious budget restraints and time restraints in terms of how much money and effort I can put into a song that makes me $0.

I wanted to have someone sing the intro but you just get some poorly edited version of my sucky vocals at the intro. I just can't get in key because I seldom sing so I used a cheap free autotuner and it sounded bad so I had to mix it with my original vocals.
