Fun Facts:
As this song was being recorded it seemed to grow in stature from something that was pretty ordinary to something that was actually pretty good.
It is a song of healing, fortitude and moving on.
The key is E major.
This was the very first time that George had recorded two-handed tapping.
Several months previously a girl who George was deeply fond of had been forced to move hundreds of miles away due to a new parental job.
When the advent of social media many years later allowed them to get in touch again, it turned out the young lady in question was also devastated by the sudden move.
I Don't Care Now was never added to the repertoire of any band and remained a piece of personal therapy.
