France Jobin è un'artista che lavora sul suono attraverso le installazioni e le performance dal vivo. Curatrice e ricercatrice, France risiede attualmente a Montreal, Canada. La sua indagine estetica si focalizza sulla capacità di scolpire il suono, rivelando un approccio minimalista agli ambienti sonori complessi in cui analogico e digitale si mescolano. Le sue installazioni esprimono un percorso parallelo, incorporando sia elementi musicali che sonori ispirati dall'architettura degli spazi fisici. I lavori di France Jobin sono stati ospitati da diversi luoghi e festival in Canada, Stati Uniti, Sud America, Europa e Giappone.

A data sonification project which uses the meteorological data sets of Calliano, a small village in the Italian Alps nearby my home village, for the 5 years - 60 months - I spent far, far away from there, in South East Asia.
