Circling around Felix means listening to punchy straight up house – this EP is classical in the sense of truly dance oriented, yet contemporary in its quirks. A self-taught engineer with enough direct infusion of its surrounding peers. ‘Traceline’ is constructed for full-bodied sound systems to be used at any moment during a club exercise. Rounded, muffled bass-lines and snappy snares accompanied by sounds from Ralpad Singh. ‘Swirly’ is precisely mastered for late explorations tackling gravity, more stretch, more flow less jaggy. Cristi’s interpretation then expands full-sided with signiture synth compositions keeping the underlying atmosphere of the original, but adds a few bright chapters more to the poem

B2. Cesare Vs Disorder - Under Your Shadow (Denis Kaznacheev Papaya Remix) [CUT]

Slovenian producer, promoter and curator Eliaz is one of the leading figures in his local scene. Landing on UK label Cartulis Music last year, Eliaz has since built strong footholds across Europe with further releases via EYA Records, Paris-based Rakya and two EP's on Italian label, YAY. Gigs at revered clubs have followed, including performances at London's FOLD and even Berlin's Hoppetosse. 

He now lands on the newly-founded, Subterranean Odyssey with 'Instals' EP. Forming the first release for the label, the tracks on 'Instals' EP are representative of the deep connection between Eliaz and the Leed-based label owners.  The A-side 'More Acid Please' holding a particularly special place in their hearts. 

Bars of orbiting chords and gurgling flourishes give way to an arrangement of taut kicks and sharp snares, the foundation of this tracks transmissible groove. Underpinned by a low-slung melody, the main method to this tune's hand-wafting madness lies in the dense, acid licked mid-section.

POSITIVE FUTURE present PF001 "ABOUT PEOPLE EP"

Parisian artists Poggio and Gabriel Belabbas proudly present Positive Future, their new electronic music label strictly focused on good vibes and positive energy.

This first release "About People EP" is a 4 track various record written and produced by berlin-based French artists 95 Steps, Elliott and ENE (aka Ethel & Elliott) and will be released in spring 2021. 

Let’s start with "Xmas", a badass breakbeat track by Elliot Sindall, founder of DISCOURS label & second half of the JÄFAR duo.
That unstoppable loop will urge you to the dancefloor with irresistible force, there is simply no escape to this groove.

Then comes the trancy and spicy "Thistle" by ENE, produced by Elliot & Ethel (member of the French label RA+RE). The kind of hybrid unidentified track that you can only use when the night hits a special moment. 

On the other side of the wax, 95 Steps (aka Size) brought us "About People", another brilliant breakbeat tune with a warm bassline, a punchy beat and a very classy jazzy vibe. 

PF001 concludes with the house bomb "Traxx", created with only one purpose : to make you smile when the sun comes up (can you feel the vibeee ?).
95 steps has produced a classic house track inspired by Chicago legends.
