We are very happy to announce Cartulis Music sub-label, ALT Records. For their first pressing label owner Unai Trotti steps up alongside Slovenian power force Eliaz for a joint release. Sparkling Yoghurt EP presents two original tracks from each producer. Eliaz - Ashait 86 is a stripped back acid groover that can ignite any dancefloor. His other track "S" is a stomping house 8-minute bomb that will definitely keep things going. Unai Trotti's - Un Nuevo Despertar is a perfect fusion of Electro/Breakbeat with minimal influence. One for the heads. On "Zumo de Grube" he delivers a more fluid 4x4 techno track with flawless percussion.

Maracuya EP is a blend of sensory elements, emotions, and cultural influences. The first track, Maracuya, transports the listener to Cali, Colombia's lively and bustling market streets. By adding organic recordings, profound soundscapes, syncopated jazz breaks, acid modulations, and ethereal vocals, Joiah aims to create a multi-sensory experience that goes beyond just auditory stimuli. She desires to engage the listener on a deeper level by evoking a sense of place and atmosphere. The second track, Reflections, describes the transition from a house setting to a vibrant club scenario, an inner debate that shifts into a pleasing dance experience. The song comprises progressive breaks, mellow chord progressions, and sensual vocals Joiah sings.

Positive Not Happy it’s a musical concept first, a descriptive name related to a precise way to make it and feel it, but also an ironic and smart name for our label. The idea comes from a team of friends based in Milano who share unfinished passion for underground electronic club music. Positive Not Happy born like a creative platform for us and our friends, and it’s also directly connected to our party brands Phoenix Room, Electronic Barbecue and Pennyroyal After Tea, with the aim to involve in our project the resident DJs and a selection of international guests. The sound will be oriented to energetic and solid club tracks, with a particular focus for accurate sound design and strictly electronic aesthetic. It results in a hybrid mix of house, techno, minimal and electro with a totally “positive attitude but not necessarily happy” vibe. Our three years experience in Milano club scene as promoters and direct support from connected friends in other key cities will give an international perspective to our label projects and showcases.
