The other podcast is by our close friend and Chaya co-founder Dr. Schock. This is the second time she appears in our soundcloud-biosphere, the first time was a live recording from Blechsonne festival, where she tore apart the floor. This one exists on the more mellow side of the fast+nice musical spectrum. Break- and jungle influenced drums walk you through the mix as a common theme. With airy pads floating above it picks up pace into techno-ish trance territory without loosing its dreamy touch for long. This mix fits perfectly into the "other" side of our sound, showcasing some breaks and general diversity apart from the "harder, faster, stronger" approach we've been showing in the last months. Take this as a little foreshaddowy hint on what's coming with our next event. We've got two international artists, announcement around the corner. Enjoy this mix!

Berlin based artist "multicoeur" defines herself by the musical spheres and relationships she moved through in the past, soaking up the energies in spaces of collective catharsis. Invaluable experiences of freedom and relief through music and dancing molding her identity and her style into what it is today. 

Mostly moving in the realm of fast bass-music with a good dose of breaks and clearly not having been left untouched by her time living in Marseille, it encapsulates a broad spectrum of genres. Her sets never following a straight line but instead taking the scenic route, moving along a path with many twists and turns, the focus laying on artist ic experimentation and letting loose.

In this mix she capture’s an emotional journey in her inner self. It starts off from a darker place and moves through to a period of calm, beauty and reflection. It then breaks free into a dancefloor inspired psychedelic high of eclectic bassy goodness, finishing of with a touch of post ironic teenage heartbreak 💔

Mariyam is a DJ who recently moved to Hamburg. She made her debut as yamyam in the beginning of 2022. Starts very smooth but slowly crystallizes into a high energy club set. There are few mistakes, but I am, however, very very happy with it! Also I am glad that it got recorded, which doesn't happen many times, so consider this a rare treat! hehe...

"For my last mix of 2023, I tried to combine my favorite genres and tracks hat I currently listen to on repeat. The result is a mix of bass, grime, trance and techno with a soft beginning and end. Enjoy while spending time with your loved ones or getting ready for New Year’s Eve."

Dr. Schock is a Vienna based DJ. She tries to break up borders of different genres like bass, baile techno and trance, puts her sets in a conceptual framework while not letting the energy of the crowd out of sight and has a soft spot for dreamy tunes. She is also co-founder of the feminist collective Chaya, where she regularly hosts parties with all flinta* line-ups.
