Booty Cakes, also known as Becky Nutt, is a vibrant and versatile music producer and DJ, whose journey in music began in her childhood in Wyoming. Growing up surrounded by nature and animals, she was influenced by a rich tapestry of genres, including rock, country, and pop. Her classical training on all woodwind instruments laid a strong foundation in music theory, which she later enriched with her skills as a jazz saxophonist, performing in various styles such as jazz, ska and classical.

Her exploration of the electronic music scene marked a significant shift in her artistic direction. Driven by curiosity and a desire to innovate, she delved into audio engineering, experimenting with sounds from her environment—recording everything from nature to urban noise. This sonic exploration paved the way for her evolution into Booty Cakes, a producer who creates exhilarating and emotional dance tracks that resonate deeply with listeners.

With styles ranging from melodic house and techno, to bass house and minimal bass, Booty Cakes creates music that invokes both joy and movement on the dance floor. Her debut track, "I Don't Walk," released on PopGang Records, showcases her talents as a songwriter, vocalist, mixer, and masterer, all done independently. This track serves as a starting point for her burgeoning career, demonstrating her commitment to crafting unique musical experiences that inspire audiences worldwide.As she embarks on this new chapter, Booty Cakes aims to transcend lifestyles through her music, bringing her infectious energy and creativity to dance floors across the globe.
