Nick Mongelli is a dynamic House DJ originally from New York, now based in Charleston, SC. Known for his high-energy performances and ability to craft unique atmospheres, Nick has become a sought-after talent in the electronic music scene. His versatile style spans across all subgenres of house music, as well as trap, drum & bass, and dubstep, making him a diverse and captivating performer.

Nick has graced the decks at some of the more prestigious venues in Charleston South Carolina, including “Ritual Rooftop”, “Trio”, “Babylon”, “Madison Maison”, and “Uptown Social”. His talent has also taken him internationally to “Chamboa” in Tulum, Mexico, and to nationwide festivals like the “Breakaway Carolina” (2024,2025) and “Breakaway Tampa” (2025)

It all started as a joke between friends. Never thought it would take me to here 55 years later. To start I am 69 years old been playing music all my life it started with a conga drum, bongos and hanging out at Central Park the Fountain, most people my age would remembers the Fountain. Spent a lot of time creatinine rhythms and beats that would send music in the air. So, I started Dee Jayin at block parties, parks, home parties even rented out community center just so us teens would enjoy ourselves. We even won a DJ battle with my partner and crime CJ the DJ at eastern district H.S we raised the house that day. I must admit there were more things for us to do because we played out in the streets all the time. So now what I do is spin a lot of nice music remixes together and post their music on my mixes so people can enjoy.
