If a track you submitted does not appear in this list, it’s probably because another of your tracks appeared in our Fresh Faves or on the BBC Music Introducing Mixtape during the last three months — we ask that artists featured on either wait three months before resubmitting to give others a chance. We also don’t accept short previews or SoundCloud GO tracks that can only be heard as 30 second previews, and tracks made private after submission, which cannot be included in playlists. You will be able to resubmit the track in future. Tracks that have been previously submitted and tracks from banned artists will also be removed.

Last Lines is the follow-up single to Solå' B Mine which was released in the fall of 2020.

Last Lines is the second single from her upcoming EP Feel What I Feel, and will be released on feb 5, via Bergen based label LEKK.

Solå has written this together with Vetle Junker (Aurora, Softcore untd.) and it's mixed by Matias Tellez (Girl In Red, Boy Pablo). Even Kjelby (Great News) is also a part of the production on Solå's upcomming EP.

PEEL - DYNA

Realms

A fast and loose dive into the world of fauxbourdon, a form of medieval choral harmonisation. In this case, the upper voice establishes melody, the middle voices follows in parallel 4ths and the lower voice harmonises the upper voice in 6ths. But with a string quartet, so there's an added cello to add beef and lots of points where I broke rank and did something else.

This version of Sunrise was recorded in the garden in Scotland during the summer of 2020. It captures the sounds of the outdoors as well as giving a gentler take on the song, inviting you to put on your headphones and listen closely.

Sunrise is a song about grief. In the original release, its poetic lyrics and meaningful message are set to electronic, uplifting eighties throwback sounds. This is a summer pop song for reflection and dancing in equal measure.
