Hip-Hop producer and artist from Toronto 🇨🇦

Teddy Roebuck - better known as Pudgegawd - is a young artist and producer bringing a bright, hard-hitting, nostalgic sound to Toronto's underground hip-hop scene. His sound is often recognizable for it's offkilter bounces, unorthodox percussion choices, heavily sidechained kicks, and memorable tags like his "WHAT AH PLAY BY PUDGE" signature.

Pudge's biggest inspirations range from J Dilla, A Tribe Called Quest and Kanye West to newer artists like Smino, Tony Shhnow, Griselda and Baby Keem.

Being his first love growing up alongside music, baseball is a heavily intertwined part of Pudge's brand. The name "Pudgegawd" is in honor of the two Hall Of Fame catchers - Carton Fisk and Ivan Rodriguez - who were both given the nickname "Pudge" during their playing careers. The name was chosen because of the similarities between the relationship of pitchers and catchers with artists and producers, highlighting how key communication and chemistry is to success.
