Australian Aleckat encapsulates a calculated genre blend with his ‘Dark Moon EP.’ It swings between cheeky house, deep techno, psychedelic trance and Zenonesque. The devil’s in the detail with this one when you breakdown its intricate micro-edits, catchy motifs and brilliant composition, while being wrapped up in a refined package with tight production, full-bodied sound and razor-sharp sawtooths. This progressive weapon will lead you down an unfamiliar path to a doorway that seemingly appeared out of nowhere.

Aleckat and Hynamo go toe to toe for this exhilarating Australian collaboration EP, Apollo. Immense is an understatement when describing this stratosphere-breaching sound that they've executed with textbook precision. The EP is saturated with a sonorous pallet, expansive melodic phrasing and deep, rolling basslines. This psytrance-influenced progressive techno will launch you out into the ether with cosmic effects, punchy drums and roaring synths. Apollo is certainly one giant leap for psy-techno.

Hailing from the town of Kiryat Gat, this humble guy has been on the creative hustle for a number of years, making sound that no one else dreams of creating. His heart and soul goes into each and every production and his drive to improve and evolve is very hard to match. 

His sound is best described as bold and heavily inspired from the land and scene he hails from, the sort of stuff that will place your spiritual being right in the thick of a middle eastern desert rave. No wonder Yuli Fershtat can't get enough of this techno gangster, inviting Southpunk to exclusively release on Digital Structures since 2018. This podcast has a mix of his releases blended in with unreleased material that will have the souls of your feet on that PHD shuffle frenzy. 

The future of this genre scape is looking healthy and with guys like Southpunk leading the way for the next wave of producers, we can be rest assured that our ears are in very good hands.
