Having crash landed on a fairly hectic tour of the USA in 2016. Label boss Jimmy Asquith finally linked up with Chicago Jim (in Chicago of course) for some local craft and bar-hopping vibes. ChiJim suggested a local spot where a friend was DJing so the two headed down for the night. What unfolded that evening was a life-impacting musical journey that came courtesy of Chicago's Jesse Sandvik, built around a heady selection of disco, house, boogie, techno, latin, acid, new wave and everything in between. For this special Lobster Theremin podcast, the windy city native has selected some of his favourite cuts by some of house music's most inspired names. The result is 'Sincerely Chicago' an ode to the city that still gives so much to one of electronic musics most cherished genres.

Jesse currently holds down two residencies, one at Nightmoves and the other at Disco Estereo, so if you're ever in the city make sure to stop by and sample some of the extra special flavours he brings to the table.
