Written and produced in a country house surrounded only by vast, empty landscapes and an endless sky, ‘Suicide Disco’ is the fruit of a 3-year long collaboration and Years of Denial’s debut LP for Veyl.
Urged to escape from crowded cities and information overload, the duo sharpened their sound and working process through isolation and introspection, crafting 11 songs filled to brim with enormous hooks, New Wave nostalgia and razor-sharp production details.
Barkosina’s voice echoes and oscillates against Jerome’s snares, profound and wounded at once. Her expressionist narrative take us to unknown yet familiar places, amplified by dub delays and otherworldly reverbs. Each track tells a story based on the intensity of relationships, a touching and distorted invitation into intimacy and complicity.

Potochkine, two inseparable souls.
3 albums and unforgettable lives. From Germany to Peru, from Canada to Sweden via Spain and Portugal.
The French duo has been meeting for a few years in festivals such as the WGT, Extramuralhas, Kalabalik, Bimfest or the Amphi Fest to come in 2023.
Alongside bands like Front 242, HMLTD, She Past Away, La Femme, Minuit Machine and Erol Alkan...
They have also played for French parties such as Garçons Sauvages, Barbi(e)turix's Wet For Me, Tech Noire for the Bizarre festival in Paris.
With their latest album Sortilèges, released on vinyl on Young & Cold records, Potochkine reinvents EBM on the incandescent blackness of techno, synthpunk and cold wave ashes.
The stage is transformed under their feet into an almost sacred place that leads the bodies to dance, to trance.
