In the 30th issue of the Koche Records, we invite Protect (@protect-thishouse) from Saint-Petersburg, Florida. Protect is short for "we must protect this house", and is a figure of speech targeted at preserving your inner spirit. His sets are meant to provide an atmosphere for both contemplation & movement.

Protect is a dancer, selector, event organizer, and growing producer based in Fl. He's the co-founder of SPS Cxllective; a forward-thinking network of educators, dancers, producers, & creatives alike based in Saint Petersburg, Florida. The Cxllective's priority within the dance community is to live out our values of Community, Compassion, Humility, Harmony, & Legacy.

His musical tastes were very into the old school Perlon label stuff, like Ricardo Villalobos, Audio Werner and other old school minimal house and rominimal scene artists.
