Ken Deckinger is a serial entrepreneur with close to ten years in the online dating space. Previously he founded HurryDate, pioneering the global speed dating and online dating concept in 45 cities throughout the US, UK, and Canada. HurryDate was acquired by Spark Networks (parent company to JDate.com & ChristianMingle.com) at which time he spent three years with the JDate team overseeing their travel and events program. 

Deckinger has founded or been involved with a number of startup companies in technology and fashion.  He's presently working on a new project as the Co-founder and "Ken" of Jess, Meet Ken an online dating concept based on the way he and his wife (Jess) met.

Ken's appeared in media around the world including Time Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, USA Today, CNN, BBC, Dateline NBC and more. He is a graduate of the University of Florida, where he was honored with the university's alumni entrepreneur under forty award and sits on the Board of Advisors for the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and has an MBA from Boston College.  He is an advisor to a number of startup technology companies, is a Techstars mentor and is the subject of a Harvard Business School case study.  

When he's not introducing people to their future boyfriends, girlfriends or spouses, he's on a perpetual quest to figure out what Bob said to Charlotte at the end of Lost in Translation.
