Power House Records is honoured to present the debut album from Sound Device titled Serious Progressive. The title speaks for the music and readies listeners for the sound of this talented and soon to be prolific designer of deeply groovy psychedelic progressive trance with a serious level. Telling a story through 10 original tracks the album transmits the feelings from the best moments under the sun or stars on packed and dusty dance floors in Mexico and around the world. Sound Device who’s is also known as Scrappy and Jorge Gonzalez has formed his ideas through 20 years of experience as a dj and now as a party promoter for Moon Crystal Records, a major party collective within the psytrance community of Guadalajara Mexico. This album shows his work at writing his own style of trance and is filled with driving melodies, synthesized peaks and waves, crisp intelligent percussion and stabbing chords used for full emotional effect. A solid progression of serious ideas in the ranges of 132 -140 bpm with smooth bass lines flowing into melancholic but energetic breakdowns and builds, this music was made for dancing! There will be many more releases in the future from Sound Device as well as from his collaboration project called Mad Robots together with Ruben Siordia A.K.A Deep Impact, be sure to keep the name Sound Device in mind.
