I began writing it on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 and completed on Saturday, November 13, 2021 (written and composed with Dorico Pro 3.5.20)

Tears

You know how it goes...... it's very late but you start scribbling in your spotty book and suddenly you've got three verses and so you pick up the guitar and just very quietly, so as not to set off next door's ruddy cat, sing them through into GarageBand with a muted strum, so you won't forget it in the morning, at which point you can add the planned bagpipes and washboard.

Well I skipped the last bit and here's the result - my first two chord song :)

Might do one of them symphony things next.

Peace of Mind

I’ve witnessed the setting of stars on the ocean.
Peered into flowers with wonderment stilled.
Gasped at the leaves of autumn’s commotion
Seen hope on the rocks, wild dreams fulfilled.
