Die hitzige Nacht wird von der über die Dächer schleichende Sonne abgelöst. Zielstrebig leuchtet sie die vor einigen Stunden noch düsteren Ecken des Hamburger Berges mit warmen Licht aus. 
Die Wände der Bar werde immernoch mit bunt, flackerndem Licht bestrahlt. Dunkle Rollos, lassen beim vorbeihauchen sanfter Luftzüge den Tagesanbruchs erahnen. Ein sinnlich weicher Bass massiert das Gemüt und fängt den Puls wieder auf. Maschierende Claps geben sich die Hand mit melancholischem Gesang und erzählenden Gitarrenstimmen.

Darf ich vorstellen: Ein 30 minütiger Live-Mittschnitt aus der Barbarabar am Samstag, bzw. Sonntag um 6 Uhr Morgens.

The past 4 years have nothing short of the good, the bad, the ugly, and of course, the beautiful. Steyoyoke thanks you, our old and new fans, for the substructure of love and support upon which this label is built. We bring you ultramodern remixes of our liveliest tracks from 2015 on the latest EP, Steyoyoke Anniversary Vol. 04, to celebrate the new year, including remixes by: Philipp Kempnich, Cid Inc, Oliver Schories, MIDAS 104, and Jonas Saalbach.

Philip Kempnich remixes Aaryon and Ran Salman's 'Riptide', fundamentally shifting the patterns of sound consistently to leave you with an ever-pleased, tingly aural sensation. Cid Inc brings us his take on Nick Devon's 'The Poem' featuring Miroir, taking advantage of the earthy bass line through a complimentary arrangement. Oliver Schories faced Soul Button and BLANCAh's 'Rising Silence' turning this track into a twisted fantasy guaranteed to engulf you. MIDAS 104 approaches Animal Picnic's 'Gravity' with a bold confidence evident in the layout of this true anthem of ethereal techno, with a hint of funk! Lastly, but not leastly, Jonas Saalbach remixes Dahu and MPathy's 'Shattered' sticking to the darkness that is, while adding minimalistic elements to make this track simultaneously sink in and pop out in the most unpredictable and astounding ways.

While touring Mexico we met @jpattersson and happened to stay at the same place (@iamaroom - Mexico City by @sarrelanguemx). Off coarse we ended up making and recording music. This is the result from back then, a homage to the sweet cat called Iama that lived with us in the studio and always chilled on our instruments.

We're Honored to be Premiering the first single 'Ramallah' from Shkoon's new Album ''Rima'', which is set to be released on the 6th of December, sending out a message of cultural diversity to the world. The title track Features Palestinian/Jordanian Singer/Song writer & Rapper ''El Far3i'' from the band '47 soul'.

Musically, the album is situated between influences of electronic downbeat, deep house, dub and hip-hop. The band members come from a variety of different musical backgrounds and have created their very own sound with a mix of influences between the Arabic and Western world.
