Small town boy is the prelude to a series of releases by Swedish act Varamon which all focus on teenage life in a small northern industrial town. Autobiographical yet dreamlike and highly subjective, each song will have it’s own particular setting and set of characters.

Being inspired by the original track by Bronski Beat and it's story of escaping a confined small town life, Varamon saw it fitting and right to record a version of the song to start off the whole project.
