PPP aka 3P aka PoP & Pistol Project started in the fall 2008 when PoP and Pistol meet and start talking about the lack of creation of music in our lives.

PPP are as stated a project, with two resident members Peter ‘PoP’ Andersson and Per ‘Pistol’ Engström. But the project is not limited to Per and Peter and uses other creative souls for putting their music pieces  together.

The project runs under two simple rules; No boundaries and No limits. They will not be allowed to be put in any genre or anything else that sets the creativity in the second room, because someone thinks this is not “correct” to do or perform.

Most of the music is arranged and performed in an digital environment with state-of-the-art equipment, but they are very keen to use acoustic instruments and soundscapes. The influences come from the era of late 60:s until todays music, included but not limited as examples are; Velvet Underground, Tangerine Dream, Bob Dylan, Kraftwerk, The Doors, Simple Minds, Pink Floyd, U2, Depeche Mode & Jarré.

Even if PPP sometimes performs as cover-artists at occasion the above is where the core is.
