Galtier’s is an artist from who hones in on amalgamation as the focal point of his output; his works occupy an expansive somatic energy that has evolved significantly over his decade-long presence in the global electronic scene.
Sporadic unexpectedness in rhythmic pace and structure coupled with a coagulated sense of mood is the formula for Galtier’s production ons and DJ sets; a willingness to explore change and progression in sound while maintaining a sense of driven cohesion has been a driving force throughout his foray into sound design.
Galtier has offered up mixes on reputable platforms that include Fact Mag, XLR8R, Inverted Audio, Rinse France and has contributed endlessly to the enormity of independent music publications ons that are making humble moves. Throughout, minimal restrictions on BPM and a desire to keep things ever-changing result in massive shibs in tempo throughout even a brief Galtier set. His cohesive understanding of music accompanied by his passion for creating his own unique and stylistic approach has won him admiration and respect on an international onal scale.
He has worked with such labels as Infinite Machine, NAAFI, [re]sources, TRRUENO, 10 Label and in 2015, Galtier introduced his own label Nostro Hood System to the world; nestled in the thematic concept as a label focused on the xenological discovery of an alternate galaxy to our own that sets out to showcase the musical artefacts that originate from it. The output has hosted releases from such production on greats as Amor Satyr & Siu Mata, Atrice, Amazondotcom, Siete Catorce, Aircode, Avernian and Galtier himself.

The first Unsound Podcast recorded live at the 2023 Kraków festival is from Rama, a Berlin-based Egyptian DJ who’s notorious for her technical and ornate patchworks of mutant club music and rap. She also curates the Irsh imprint and event series alongside ZULI, using it to shine a spotlight on artists from the Levant.
Rama’s set closed out one of Unsound’s club nights with drama, inventiveness and adventure, tracking through UK bass music styles, Brazilian funk, dubstep and drill, and gesturing towards the future.

The resulting sound seamlessly fuses elements such as HARD DRUM, dark breakbeats, grime and DnB to create innovative and captivating compositions. His releases on labels such as Hakuna Kulala, Eastern Margins, FunctionLab, TREKKIE TRAX, Ashida Park and Eco Futurism Corporation have attracted audiences from both the local and international scenes due to his eclectic musical style and imaginative approach.

Now based in Brussels, ojoo’s diverse love for sound is apparent in every mix and live set she conjures up. Swirling reggaeton and dembow, atmospheric illbient and industrial beats, grubby grime and even religious folk music may make an appearance, each track a well-considered placement in her sonic witch’s brew. Though varied in style and genre, her skillful touch ensures the groove remains a constant, turning disparate parts into a dancified freak-out with just the right gonzo flow to make you go »Whoa.«
