46th week of BETAMAX invites Constant sound rebel, vinyl enthusiast, DJ, @Partyzanai label, @Partyzanai-Pop, and @PPPrecords founder and promoter - @mantas-t

Cosmopolitan, traveler, and digger throughout many electronic music trends, capitals, styles, and beyond. Plays mostly vinyl, which became kind of a rebel act and signature of his DJ sets in today's inevitable music digitalization.

Mantas’s DJ sets reflect a wide spectrum of sound, as well as his love for obscure, hard-to-find records, which extends from obscure disco to modern techno. During his over 20 years of DJ career he was well known-resident of Lithuania’s first underground nightclub Gravity, performed and still performing beside various internationally established artists in his own promoted and independent events.

The name Betamax stands for quality electronic music and analog warmth in micro/minimal/lo-fi/tech house/breakbeat and electro genres. The show itself is a mix series to represent groovy, funky, and rough sounds to show a more creative and experimental approach to dance music and @Play4n4.

In our new BOOTLEGS series we would like to refer this term more to the comfortable boots, that you need for being active on the dace floor due to selected tracks, reshaped into more danceable versions. An underground rebel of hardware machine music and a lover of analogue sound who stays devoted to the true live performance, funk, soul and groove. Under the heavy influence of black American music including jazz, funk, hip hop, house and techno, Channel37 carries an old school groove tradition straight to 21st century. His imprint Hedphon, dedicated to analogue sound contains few releases of diverse electronic dance music and he is a resident at the infamous Radiator techno parties in Copenhagen. Channel37’s brutal beats, funky baselines, and obscure synths raise no questions on the dance-floor, shortcut of which you can experience in the CTIY LFIE extended play. The limited edition MC includes two extra cassette only drone tracks.

It shouldn't need saying but without Motown, Undergound Resistance and so many more from the city of Detroit, music history would be immeasurably different, and so we can't think of a better way of paying back than by helping the next generation of Detroit's musicians. We can't wait to find out what comes out of the academy.

JIN's 2nd EP storms out the gate with Hong Kong's finest Mr. Ho. The Klasse Wreck's head honcho boss drops three originals. 

A1 "Holy Smokes" is a slow-motion, acid-flavored chugger, making one feel like snake-rolling through Hong Kong's urban jungle. B1 "Emo Springs" blends futuristic jungle, tribal, house, and juicy basslines into a must-get dance floor heater. The EP finishes off with B3 : " Not Good With Others" - a no BS bassy and bossy track, swings with a filthy kick from the get-go.

Added are two sonic-weapon-remixes: 
On A2 UK OG duo Dawl & Sween hits all the cylinders with vinyl-only, mean breakbeat banger remix of "Holy Smokes." On B2 with Hong Kong's 宀 Club's music curator Sunsiaré running "Emo Spring" through an electrifying old school jungle reshape, leaving all buzzed by his sonic assault.
