Up next on our mix series is a set from our very own Nicolas Lutz. 

We take much pride in having Nicolas in our agency and as our resident,  representing the ethos of our entire project. That is because not only we believe NIcolas is the best representation of what Djing should be about but he is an artist that dares on pushing music boundaries, a quality which is pretty rare in Djs today and it is on that note that we bring you this set. Most of Nicolas' sets have been recorded live as he prefers however this one was recorded at home bringing a side of Nicolas which is not necessarily exposed as often. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Recorded live at fabric's 25th birthday, their RA.999 captures that feeling perfectly. High-tempo, irresistibly groovy and full of quiet authority, it marks a return to the series for both: Moonear with RA.520, and Dygas with the fourth-ever RA Podcast all the way back in 2006.

They also gave rare interviews, reflecting on a deep musical connection that began in 2007, the legacy of minimal and lessons from a life spent in DJ booths the world over.

Certain dj’s manage to go beyond the barrier of just playing music and create an atmosphere with a different energy, a result of mixing good music selection, according to each moment, and an exquisite technique to mix it. These are two features that have marked Eduardo Cardozo aka DJ KOOLT and MR. KOOLT since his very beginnings. Dj Koolt is one of the greatest exponents of the Uruguayan underground scene and a faithful collector of vinyl records. He also earned an European recognition by playing in many great parties such as FUSE (Brussels), Closer (Kiev), Club Eden (Bucharest), Closer (Kiev), Cartulis Music (London), Concrete (Paris), RED58 (Barcelona), OHM and Hoppetosse (Berlin), Goa (Rome) and much more.

Playing for 20 friends at an after-hours or for 1000 people at some club, one can easily recognize Edu by a natural characteristic of his: the connection and the trance he is able to create in his audience.

In 2013, he and two friends opened Phonotheque, the only club 100% devoted to Underground electronics in Uruguay and one of the best in the region. Few months after opening, Phonotheque became an important reference point at a national and international level and promoting their own style and distancing itself from conventional electronic music
