My set from the 'Elixir of Life :: Beyond the Looking Glass Summer Gathering' held in an exquisite location outside London, on 30 August - 1 September 2013. Hailed as one of the best parties London has seen all year!

Perfect weather, beautiful people and amazing vibes all round! 

I played from 12:30 - 2pm on the outdoor stage. 
Started with fullon @ 143 bpm, and wound it down to progressive @ 137 bpm.

The sun was out and people were bouncing and smiling - perfect end to summer!

After a great, inspiring summer with some wonderful gigs I return with another chapter in the "From A to Z" series. The concept in the first two parts was to make some quite diverse sets, and that's also the case in part 3.

The set starts with some rather slow and atmospheric progressive house and solid techno in the first half, while the second half has some more pounding and melodic progressive psytrance and full on psychedelic trance.

About 1½ year ago I recorded a set by the title "From A to Z". The concept was to make a very diverse mix with a continuingly increasing drive and intensity, and it is one of my most downloaded sets to date.

Now I bring you part two. Once again I start below 130 BPM, and over the course of 1½ hour I move through euphoric, yet deep progressive house over groovy, euphoric and melodic progressive trance up to deep, atmospheric full on.

“From A to Z” is one of the shortest sets I have recorded, but at the same time also one of the most diverse. I like variety in my sets, and for this one I wanted to try and make a relatively seamless yet still quite extreme increase in BPM and shift in moods. The BPM increases from 128 to 140 in just over one hour - going from deep and mechanical techno over melodic progressive trance to morning full on.

The Human Experience - Dusted Compass (Phutureprimitive Remix)

This is a mix I recorded for the Greek magazine Freeze Magazine back in September 2010. It was released on a CD as part of a special Iboga Records feature for the December issue of the magazine, and therefore it consists only of tracks and remixes released on Iboga Records over the years. From progressive house, a bit of techno and a hint of progressive trance towards the end.

RITMO - Some Kind Of Rhythm 001 Dj Mix

My name is Jannick Andersen, and I'm a DJ from Denmark, also known under the alias DJ pr0fane and producing under the name Multiphase.

I have been a DJ since 2002, and an Iboga Records label DJ since 2007, but electronic music already caught my interest back in the 80's, and I fell in love with psychedelic trance in 1997. I am a very dedicated and passionate at what I do, and I consider DJ'ing both an art form and a serious technical craft. That is why I try to constantly test my boundaries and always try to explore new sounds, without of course loosing the feel for the nostalgic and emotional - good music never gets out of style.

As a DJ for Iboga Records, my musical repertoire of course includes the latest and freshest progressive psychedelic trance, but I also have a love for more house and techno-influenced sounds: from emotional and trance-influenced melodic progressive to phat, pounding techno as well as deep, hypnotic minimal, techno and tech house. At the right time and setting, I also like to play full on morning and daytime sounds, and I also very much enjoy chillout and downbeat-sets, as I see them as both very challenging and independent of the boundaries of the dancefloor.

I take an honour in never limiting myself to one particular sub-sub-sub-genre of music: to me, a good DJ-set should not only be about playing 20 similar-sounding dancefloor "killers" in a row between two liveacts - it should be a journey: evolving, progressing and influencing the listener and moving through different emotions and soundscapes, dependant on the setting, time and crowd. That is my main motivation to keep on playing - to be a part of those magic moments on the dancefloor where you just go with the music, and let it lead the way.

Over the years I have played at some of the best clubs and venues all over Denmark, plus in countries like England, Turkey and Germany. This for instance includes these festivals:

In 2007 I joined the Danish label Iboga Records as an official label DJ. As you probably know, Iboga Records is one of the leading forces in the progressive psychedelic scene over the last decade, with over 90 releases, including albums by artists like FREq, Ace Ventura, Antix, Liquid Soul, Beat Bizarre, Reefer Decree, Perfect Stranger, Quantize, Phony Orphants and many more.
