Since September, Ankha has been showing up in my feed for literal MONTHS now.
So I decided originally to just remix 'Camel by Camel' from Sandy Marton.
But then Z0NE decided to fuck me last minute and drop 'Cat on the Ceiling' which uses 'Living on the Ceiling' by Blancmange. So I got a little dummy on this remix and had way too much time 'fucking Ankha stupid'. lel

So, enjoy this conglomerate of TRAP FUSION goodness you get to enjoy 7 minutes of pleasure to. Just clean yourself up afterwards. LMAO.

I wanted to do something... interesting, so I went for a more RAM-era take on this track and made it a rock ballad. Everything was replayed... ALIVE. Even my voice, which I used Auto-Tune on.

I'd like to thank the people at the server for giving me a chance to show what it is that I'm capable of. It was an honour.

ACT A FOOL

Happy 20th anniversary to Speak For Yourself, the legendary 2005 album by Imogen Heap that I honestly consider to be perfect. The album is one of the best showcases of Heap's unique talent, as she wrote, sang, produced and even played most of the instruments on the album all by herself. Though the album was a relatively underground release, its singles each achieved great success in some way--"Hide and Seek" achieved success after being feared in the teen drama series The OC (which has led to the bridge of the song becoming a meme, and later being sampled in Jason Derulo's 2009 debut single "Whatcha Say"); "Goodnight and Go" was covered by Ariana Grande in 2018; and "Headlock" became Imogen Heap's first Hot 100 entry over 19 years after the album's release due to its association with the psychological horror game Mouthwashing. Speak for Yourself has influenced so many musicians, including myself. That's why, in honor of the album's 20th anniversary, I have mashed up the iconic "Headlock" with another favorite song of mine, Charli XCX's "Unlock It". Though Charli XCX herself has never named Imogen Heap as an influence directly, you can feel Heap's influence in multiple of her songs. The title of this mashup speaks for itself (pun completely intended), and the two songs fit way better than one would expect them to, both musically and lyrically.
