Extract from Chapter Two - "Strange Visitors in the Night" :

“Mummy, what’s that noise?” asked Lucy nervously.

A strange fluttering sound could be heard at the window. 

“Perhaps it’s an injured bird?” suggested Emma. “I’ll put the patio light on and have a look. You stay inside please, it’s cold!”

Emma went to the back door and flicked the switch for the outside light. As she tried to open the door, her hands fumbled with the keys, but somehow she felt excited rather than frightened. A strange sense of anticipation filled her chest as she carefully opened the door and stepped outside. Lucy was suddenly there at her side.

“Mummy I looked behind the curtains – it’s a FAIRY!” she proclaimed in a quiet, but excited voice.

“What?” Emma whispered dismissively.

“IT’S - A - FAIRY!” repeated Lucy very slowly and deliberately. They crept stealthily round to the French windows, where a beam of light shone down on the patio. And there, sure enough, was something small and brown with two arms, two legs … and a pair of wings!

Lucy gasped and clung onto her mother’s arm. Emma caught her breath and stared in amazement at the sight before her. Could she really be seeing what she thought she was seeing?

“It’s Tweeny Bunting!” hissed Lucy excitedly.

“Tweeny Bunting? Oh my…” Emma stopped and looked on in disbelief. 

As the two stood there in the frosty night air, the child-sized fluttering figure turned around and stared at them nervously.

'Prelude To A Fairy Tale (Vocal Version with Story Extract)' - Christian Welde & Sleepingenius

We hope you will enjoy our new song “Waiting”, may it give you all some comfort and relaxation and peace in your heart and mind.
After working together on "Brave Angel", Alan Johnson gave this composition to John, and gave him full freedom to convert it into a  orchestral song, John started to rebuild the song and make it longer with a different bridge, then John and Matt started to create all harmonies and rearrange it so they could fit with all other instruments into an orchestral movement.

The title “Waiting” can be explained in so many different ways, as it also has more meanings to us then you might expect, we all do a lot of “Waiting” in our lives.

By the meaning “Waiting for You” , with the upcoming holidays for sure many people have to wait for their loved ones to come home on time for Christmas eve, so the holidays can be celebrated together, especially when people have to come from far, and have to catch a bus, train and airplane in time to go home.
As many movies were made with this subject as theme, we can all name lot’s of titles of movies which of course will be broadcasted as well during the holidays, and most of the time there’s a happy ending and everybody is happy, but not in all cases, as many of you may have experienced as well.

And “Waiting” while you’re in the hospital like many of our friends, they need to wait for tests or surgery, or they are recovering from an illness, and they are “Waiting” to be cured till they finally can go HOME
.
Everybody has their own experience of “Waiting”, some are positive, some are negative as well.
We tried to express our own experiences, feelings and thoughts that we couldn’t say in words, so we say it with music, as we both and our loved ones also had and still have their “Waiting” moments.

“All instruments are carefully layered accompanying the piano melody, each part gives a different emotion” this remark was given while I was finishing this song in the studio, to us this is what we hope this song would do to and for you all as well. 

This way we also want to wish all the best to Hemmo Riihelä, Megan McCarthy and Ralf, Melanie and Florian Reichelt and all other friends and listeners we haven’t mentioned, all the best and speedy recovery, may God be with you all, and may the spirit and joy of Christmas be present in your heart, because we believe in spirit we’re all together one way or the other.

To everybody in the world, we wish you all a Merry Christmas and all the best wishes for 2016.
