production notes:
This started out with a narrative I wrote for the track about a lone figure that awoke without memory in a cave that appeared to be sentient, and inhabited ravers entranced by strange relics. The usual psychedelic trope stuff. I recorded the vocals myself, and used them to inform the initial arrangement of the track. It became evident that the story would result in a evolving and winding musical expedition. However, my voice really didn't suit it. So I used elevenlabs to generate a new AI version of the vocals - that are used here. Later I stripped most of the vocals out, however the story they informed is now the song.

Each track I make offers new challenges.. here I really wanted to shift genres and sounds a lot. It sounds quite basic, but there's a lot going on here from a bassline that absolutely isn't traditional psytrance (although the base pattern is inspired by "Robotoised" by Quirk), to shifting from saw bass, to square wave, to switching the whole thing up in to a Brazil-inspired shponglised breakdown - considering I had no knowledge of this musical style, let alone how to produce it. However the real challenge was finishing this track. The arrangement has been 'complete' for months now with me tweaking and trying to polish it up enough to release it. 

I also decided to make this a multi-part song. Again, inspired by Shpongle albums where tracks eb and flow between each other. Part 2 of this isn't included here, but I hope I can make it become a full mixed album. Something for later.

Die satten Baselines ermöglichen dem Publikum in einen Zustand der Ekstase und Meditation einzutauchen, welcher es ihnen erlaubt, sich von ihren Alltagssorgen zu befreien und in den Moment einzutauchen.  Seine Sets vereinen die Menschen in einem kollektiven Tanz und versetzten sie in eine von Selbsterkenntnis und Vergnügen geprägte Trance. In den hypnotischen Klängen verschmilzt die Mythologie mit moderner Musik, und die Tanzfläche wird zum Ort der Einheit und Transformation. Hier können die Menschen loslassen, sich mit ihrer inneren Essenz verbinden und sich in den pulsierenden Rhythmen verlieren – eine wahrhaftige Vereinigung von Körper, Geist und Seele.
