Sound Avenue's progressive offshoot 3rd Avenue reaches its 30th release this week and with that they welcome Blusoul back to the label. The first remix is provided by Praveen Achary who is making his first appearance on 3rd Avenue. The Indian producer and Juicebox Music mastermind has been quiet on the production front to start the year but he kicks it off in style here with a great interpretation of 'Falling'. Praveen has reworked the elements from the original wonderfully into a smoother more streamlined beast which is just as powerful as the original. The undulating foundation from the original has been toned down a touch in favour of a momentous hypno groove which sounds perfect for the progressive house contemporaries out there. Add to that a dazzling top end of memorizing key clusters and you've got a great complement to Blusoul's massive original. - "Release Promo"

Minimal Wave is proud to present a 6 song EP by the UK/US duo Sandra Electronics. Originally formed as Sandra Plays Electronics by Karl O’Connor in 1988, the project has evolved over the years to become a collaborative endeavor with Juan Mendez (aka Silent Servant). Three of the tracks were first released as an Untitled 10” on Downwards in 2010, and the record quickly sold out. Those songs have been re-edited and remastered for this EP, and three more rare demos and live versions have been added. The songs can be described as hypnotic industrial electronic mantras with enigmatic keyboards and treated vocals. Each track draws the listener in, with its repetitive psychedelic percussion and dark affected vocal. The record is a hand-numbered edition of 999 copies pressed on 180 gram ultra clear vinyl, and housed in a high quality heavy weight printed sleeve featuring a vintage photograph of Samia Gamal. Release date: April 30th, 2014, with special signed copies available for sale on May 10th at the Brookyln Flea RBMA Record Fair. Sandra Electronics will be doing an exclusive DJ set and record signing that day.

Mitch has been such a huge influence and inspiration to me over the years. The way he's executed things, his foresight into the future sound as well as being an amazing human. I couldn't be more thankful. This marks one major point off my bucket-list.

This stellar collection contains some of the best moments the label has had over the course of its first 5 years, along with new interpretations ... including mine. I've gone and done something completely different from my usual sound, something I've been experimenting on based on my experiences over the dance-floors in India, a dark & slow techno-ish builder. I hope you like it.

"The 27th release on Nikko.Z's Dopamine Music features the return of Praveen Achary to the label. The Indian producer first appeared on the Greek imprint with his 'Suspended Animation' single which was released in November of 2013. Fast forward 10 months and Praveen's Juicebox Music branded events, radioshow and label imprint have continued flourish. His place amongst India's most influential electronic music figures has never wavered and continues to rise with each successive gig and project. The Indian producer's last original production was in fact 'Suspended Animation' so his ever growing fan base has been hungry for some new original material for quite some time. Praveen's long awaited second single for Dopamine Music is entitled 'Kibou' and it comes with a remix from Danny Lloyd. A new sound has been coming out of Praveen's studio of late. His recent remix of Cid Inc. & Lank's 'Coronal Mass' was a prime example of that and 'Kibou' takes it one step further. Getting underway with a tight hypnotic groove it's a production that seems to methodically gain momentum.  It's wide array of trippy electronics, rolling beats and drifting psychedelia is immensely stimulating. But for as heady as that sounds the pulsating groove and dynamic bass stabs keep the production firmly focused on the dance floor. Certainly one of Praveen's most inspired works to date and a foreshadowing of the fresh sounds to come I'm sure. Praveen has also supplied a Dub version of 'Kibou' which reworks the original elements into a highly stylized and more stripped down framework. Both excellent dance floor weapons." - Mitch Alexander

Russian producer Aidar Davlethanov aka D-Eye began his career in 2004, and since then has emerged as one of the most promising names in recent memory. Igal Magitman from Israel has proven that even in the increasingly saturated and competitive scene, one can still shine and rise above the rest with enough stamina and raw talent. From the sleeves of labels like Toolroom, 1605, Spinnin, Global Underground, and Renaissance, he has catapulted himself to a level that so many aspiring producers strive to achieve.&#13;

Turkish maestro Goktug Citci, better known as Subsky, rose to fame in 2001 when his track 'Four Days' made an appearance on Paul van Dyk's landmark 'Politics of Dancing' compilation. Fast forward to 2003 and his trademark blend of melancholic, melodic, and groovy sounds resulted in 'Strawberry Fields', a track which Nick Warren included in his 'Global Underground: Reykjavik' compilation.&#13;

Last but not least, Praveen Achary &amp; Vipul become the first producers from India to sign with Perspectives Digital. As a sign of their dedication, the two traveled between Bangalore and New Delhi to complete the collaboration. They represent the new age of musicians that is pioneering electronic dance music within the giant land of 1.2 billion people. With releases on Outside The Box, Maktub, and Mirabilis already under their belts, we should expect to see the demand for these two steadily increase throughout the year.&#13;
