Singing from the age of 9, Pravin Saivi has been in the music industry for over 20 years. Only son of acclaimed Singaporean Indian musician the late Mr. L. Krishnasamy, fondly known to many as Saivi, Pravin has proven to be one of the most versatile and talented singers in Singapore.

With his unique stage presence and entertaining capabilities, he rocked the world with his success in Vijay Tv's "Airtel Super Singer 3" and "Super Singer T20". Along this journey he bagged many awards namely, "Best Entertainer", "Best Overseas Contestant", "Most Valuable Player" ,5 "Best-Performer" awards and the championship title of Super Singer T20. His unforgettable Acapella acts, energetic performances and soulful renditions of tunes with his guitar, have not only earned him fans in India and Singapore, but from all over Canada, U.S.A, Australia, Malaysia and the U.A.E.

Pravin's unique style of rendering songs bagged him an opportunity to be Musical Director for a segment in “Who Wants to be a Millionaire" (Tamil ) by Star Vijay TV. In this segment he orchestrated a choir, a strings ensemble and a team of playback singers, to present a medley of songs for the host, popular actor and anchor Prakash Raj. The item moved Actor Prakash Raj to tears and was well received by the audience, propelling Pravin's music career to new heights.Prior to these musical ventures in India, Pravin had already began pursuing his professional music career in Singapore.

With more than 2000 stage appearances to his name, he is one of the most prominent faces of the Singaporean music industry. Also a talented theater artiste, Pravin eventually moved on to acting in many television dramas and musicals in both Tamil and English.

Being one of the few Indian artistes to crossover from the Indian industry into the mainstream English scene, Pravin has collaborated with World Class musicians representing Singapore along the way, performing at International Music Festivals; The Singapore Arts Festival, Mosaic Festival, Jazz by the Beach just to name a few.

Pravin’s recent debut as a Musician/lyricist/singer in Kollywood for the film Puthiathor Ulagam Seivom was well received. The movie also starred Pravin Saivi as one of the leads with Aajeedh, Yaazhini, Anu, Santhosh Balaji, Al Gates from the Super Singer family as well. The recently departed Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam also endorsed the positive values and characteristics portrayed in the film.

Now based in Chennai, India, Pravin Saivi is kept busy performing in, spearheading and creatively designing concerts around the world, sessioning as a vocalist/guitarist for various music directors, scoring soundtracks for short/feature films and most importantly, sharing musical love.
