Praxis Axis

LHC Remix:  "System Exit"

I put this together very quickly as demo of my music for Game producers.  The tune is inspired by an imaginary game along these lines:  

A little robot goes on adventures.  He is powered by fusion and steam.  The setting is an alternative 20th Century, where the apocalypse occurred around about World War I.  Technology has progressed differently, with no iphones and PCs, but electro-mechanical self-aware analogue computers instead.  The little robot has to solve puzzles, avoid traps and thwart giant ironclad enemies of various sorts.

Skrillex - Reptile's Theme (Romanshi Remix)

Various samples taken from Industrial Power (Bruton Music, 1978) Keith Mansfield in particular.  Some of the drumming is by Mark Henman, although he may not realise that.

The tempo is 76, which is the year I was born (I began this track on my birthday).    I'm going to try to do an animated clip for this one so watch out for the Youtube version :) .

Another pure synth track for our upcoming computergame-inspired album.  

This version of the tune has not been professionally mastered, and is streaming at a reduced bit-rate, which affects the audio quality. Secret Level

Praxis Axis is the electronical alter ego of Thomas Green, a composer from Brisbane.  Tom writes music of many different varieties, but presently is hoping to put out an album for Praxis Axis, featuring what he likes to call "Adventure Music," or music evoking fantasy and science fiction imagery.  His sound is sometimes serious and often funny, but hopefully always is his own.
