Addressing the growing gap between human feelings and algorithms, NPP004 highlights a space where identity, authorship, and creativity are shaped by systems. Curated by Somnolent Works, the compilation features Lord Jalapeños, Mechanoreceptor, Robodrum, Galaxy Surfer 303, and Holoe — artists preferring to let the music speak for itself, without relying on their image.

The compilation consists of six tracks that create a shared environment. Here, individual viewpoints blend into a collective system. Anonymity, restraint, and function play key roles. Each piece exists on its own while contributing to a larger structure. The focus is on transmission instead of presence, process instead of persona, and structure instead of showiness.

"We Are Machines" moves with intent and clarity. Each track carries a purpose without depending on flash or personality. Listeners are encouraged to engage with the sounds directly. When aggressive expenditure subsides, denial follows. The subject disengages, declaring the material irrelevant or nonexistent. The sonic event is relegated to the margins of consciousness, coded as ignorable background.
However, as psychoanalytic theory indicates, denial is never absolute. Auditory fragments remain: the persistence of a loop, the afterimage of a dissonance, the mnemonic trace of a texture. The red flag is not extinguished but repressed, continuing to function within the unconscious domain.
Denial therefore constitutes a paradox: the object is consciously excluded while unconsciously maintained. This silent negotiation signals the beginning of hidden integration.

For their very first offering, Hanna & Robbie unveils a 5-track album making an ever possible encounter between psychedelic fractured grooves and mellow sci-fi haze in a divergent electronic shell. Planet42 carves a slow-burning path through severance and trance, a trip back to the subconscious like an escape or a sin, guiding both body and mind into unfamiliar exploration

Taking a fey look on electronic performance, where dubby-inspired and fractured rhythms tend to unveil ethereal ambiances, HR was born and raised in the emergent underground electronic French scene and started being moving targets in 2023 with a first live show at the Supercamp Festival happy few’s gathering.
With a mosaic of gritty textures, clubby breaks and otherworldly echoes in the lead-off project Planet42, Hanna & Robbie dives deep in this restless esoteric tension their identity is all about : an spunky early signal sculpting precise and intricate yet atypical tones revealing this crawling need of delivering unsettled arrangements and dreamscaped lines. Already in the move for their next in order work, it is settled in their experimentation lab that new doses of psychedelia and delusive resonances were written as an incipit to a future alternative live act.

Text & Bio:

Motorflavio is the distorted reflection of a brutalist, polluted, and unequal São Paulo — a landscape that shaped the musical sensibility of Flavio D in the 1980s and 1990s.

 Under family influences, he immersed himself early in the gothic subculture and was soon consumed by Death and Black Metal — sonic encounters that would forever define his artistic identity.
The heavy aesthetics, hostile environments, and extreme soundscapes led him to his first DJ sets during the rise of Electroclash clubs and Trance raves in the 2000s — always in marginal, private spaces, far from the mainstream.

His selection distills decades of Old School Industrial music, flirting with Dark Electro, EBM, and Harsh Noise — with the weight of someone who lives counterculture, not just consumes it. With over a decade as a regular at the wildest nights of Berlin, Brussels, Budapest, and Paris, his sets reflect a blend of mechanical textures, distorted vocals, and dissonances.

Beyond his solo work, he is also one half of the duo @TooDeadToDie, focused on Industrial Goth, and the founder of the collective @BringBackElektro, which revives and updates the codes of 1990s and 2000s dark electronic music.

He has performed at festivals like Summer Breeze and iconic parties such as Tarja Preta, Darkosa, Body Kvlt, D.A.N.C.E., Eclipse Fest, Baile Profano, Fronte, Onda Escura, Tiny Bar, Pantera, and Electric Club, sharing stages with artists like Sarin, Yami Spechie, Melanie Havens, Silenzo, Tegron, Bárbara Dunkel and Lilith.
