With a focus on the Sci Fi mythology surrounding techno music they provide a pulsating energetic session building with layers over the course of the one hour live journey recorded exclusively for MNMT in Paris, France.

Polar Inertia builds anticipation for their 4th chapter, soon to unfold but partially heard in this session.

Having made a name for himself through a string of choice releases for the likes of Nous’klaer and Delsin, Dutch producer Konduku has been turning heads with his ever innovative take on the techno medium. Pushing for new directions, Konduku’s been laying down intriguing blends of dubbed-out, Afro-infused grooves and plural strains of abstract-leaning, breaks-friendly hybrids. The present mix showcases the breadth of his influences and essential components, extrapolating techno’s genre-transcending nature through a fine mix of heavily verbed-out electronics and shape-shifting buildup, never quite going where you’d expect it, rather seeking the excitement of suspenseful arcs and unsuspected developments. Bold as it should.

DJ Sodeyama’s been around since the 90s, a Tokyo-based whizz and DJ’s DJ, whose career has offered the type of sound many selectors would envy. It’s incredibly sharp, meandering along its intelligent thread in unexpected and high-minded ways. Since the early noughties he could add producer to his soubriquet too, flexing his minimal muscle with early releases, a steady stream of ensuing ventures further cementing his craft via Korean-based deep techno distributor Artscope, Dynamic Reflection, illegal alien, Daybreak and many more. He’s also explored adjacent genres and ventured into the world of house under his parallel alias The People In Fog. Pretty full plate, but the quality of his sound has suffered nothing for it. His techno is an expert tapestry of interlaced details and lingering moods, injected with raw feeling and undeniable skill. It darts from peak to peak, fusing frequencies riddled with forward-pitched elements and vivid effects, and forges a long-range feeling that abuts the realm of both man and machine. Thick and volatile techno that serves as proof that the genre can keep expanding outwards in fresh and surprising ways. Bassiani Podcast 260 moves the needle further, it's quintessential Sodeyama: vivid climbs and steep descents, warped vocal samples, brave and unbending beats for prime-time raving.

Italian Techno Dj and producer Dorian Gray deals with electronic music far beyond its partying aspect. Fascinated by astronomy, symbolism and ancient cultures, Dorian’s creations gently offer the listener an introspective journey driven by meticulous ambient pads, hypnotizing rhythms and smart acidic loops. After his acclaimed Nyctophilia EP released on Android muziq in 2015, Dorian’s work appeared on international active imprints such as Circular LTD, Illegal Alien, Black string records and Lost in ether to name a few. He has now gained a well deserved reputation in the scene as his tracks are constantly charted by well established artists such as Cio d’or, Luke Slater or Ben Klock, and were played more than once at Techno temples like Tresor or Berghain. Production work aside, Dorian firmly states that his first love is DJing where he continues to push forward, spreading his word in several gigs across Europe including the infamous Jaded in London. His progressively built sets oscillates between deep Techno and more club-oriented and hard-hitting sonorities.
