Adelia is a dj origin from Prague, actually based in Spain. She has been a dj since 2015. Her style began with dark techno but turned into deep techno music really fast. Adelia has a lot of experiences with her own events and gigs across Czech republic and Slovakia. She already made podcasts for names such as Oslated, radio Ozora, Bahn Barcelona and many more. Her touch for music is very specific with feelings from other galaxy.

Raised by a drummer, it’s no coincidence that she easily stays in time as she strings together gems from along the genre spectrum. Known and loved as someone who pretty much can’t stop dancing once she starts, it was only a matter of time before she channeled this endurance behind the decks.  Whether sending stargazers into the ether with her ambient selections or getting hearts and bass thumping on the dancefloor with her minimalistic techno sets, Kim brings a bewitching tenderness to her DJ-ing that quickly caught the attention of the Belgian scene.

This was the last two hours of my opening set for @kicks-hugs-berlin at Renate back in December, unfortunately the recorder didn't catch the beginning of the set so we just jump straight in to the groove.

Helsinki-based DJ and curator @laura_mrls is known to project a beautiful and ever-reforming blend of eerie, melancholic and cinemascopic sounds in straightforward and hypnotic techno. The non-binary artist contributes to the Berlin club scene by being a resident artist of the trans-led event series and label, @subvertedscene. They are also a member of the Norwegian techno platform, festival and label, @monument-podcast.

Laura MRLS has played their dark but energetic DJ sets in venues like @tresorberlin and @about-blank-berlin in Berlin, Hall in Tallinn, The Garage of the Bass Valley in Barcelona and Helsinki’s Post Bar, Kaiku and Ääniwalli. Their @affinedarkscience [AFDS] radio show at IDA Helsinki also just turned into a label which will follow with the artist’s first own productions.

Laura van Hal is my guest in Portal the Podcast Episode 73. We’ve met last December where we both were invited by Pax Romana for a crazy night at Radion, Amsterdam alongside lots of other great artists. I really enjoyed dancing to her opening set and invited her for the series. She recorded an amazing set for us, from dub to techno.

Few artists can match the influence that Enrique Mena, AKA Svreca, and his label Semantica have had on contemporary techno. With over 20 years in the DJ booth, 200-plus releases on the label and some acclaimed original productions and remixes, Svreca has spearheaded techno’s second generation, helping maintain Madrid as an international hub for deep and driving sounds. 

As a DJ, Svreca draws from a wide sonic palette that includes noise, dub, avant-garde electronics, electro and, of course, techno. First, it was luminaries like Angel Molina and Oscar Mulero that inspired him; since then he has made it his mission to survey the scene and connect with its most original artists. He funnels these influences into a powerful techno sound for body and mind: immersive, textural and rhythmically complex. Whether in an open-air festival setting or a blistering, pitch-back basement, Svreca’s sets—always delivered with technical precision—are a psychedelic, physical experience. 

His sets are also inextricably linked to Semantica. It’s a two way relationship: the label has become a consistently excellent breeding ground for new talent, as well as home to some of techno’s finest artists. Glad to present you Forest on Stasys (@forestonstasys) through this immersive mix, the new project of Guido Camino, the Argentinian dj/producer also well known for his other alias Mental Resonance.

Influenced by tribal minimalist techno in the nineties and the deepest and most abstract techno currently, the most seductive elements of these tracks are the use of resonant basses perfectly combined with long and reverberated pads, extensive sonorous landscapes that are modified by continuous movement of LFO, solid grooves and strident percussions.

Not everything that comes out of his head is created with an intention to be used on the dance floor. He has a great admiration for drone and ambient tracks, without a rhythmic pattern that predominates, where the main factor is to captivate the listener with melodies that can be marked by a strong melancholy or with notes that give a certain feeling of satisfaction depending on his current mood

Revelation Of Sound is pleased to present Mary Yuzovskaya. By way of NYC, Berlin and before that Moscow, vinyl only techno DJ, producer and record label owner Mary Yuzovskaya has been cultivating her unique orbit in the electronic dance music firmament for over 13 years.

Having graced the decks of all Moscow’s hotspots back in the mid-2000s, Mary moved to Berlin, where she quickly became recognised for both her blisteringly-precise vinyl-only techno sets and her painstakingly professional approach to the craft of DJing. Based in New York City since 2013, Mary currently holds a residency at Public Records and solely runs her very own record label called Monday Off, launched in 2017, where she curates and presses work from artists that explore techno's trippier, more hypnotic side. After relocating to the US, Mary quickly became a key figure in its scene, performing regularly at different venues including multiple residencies at some of the city’s institutional parties like Unter, where she was a staple for three years, as well as working as a vinyl distribution manager at renowned Brooklyn-based record shop Halcyon.

Mary has been fortunate enough to share the decks with many talented and internationally recognised musicians such as Blazej Malinowski, Claudio PRC, Dino Sabatini, Edit Select, Ness, Xhin, and many others. She has been busily traveling the world and performing her unique take on techno music’s deeper vibes at many noted clubs and parties across the world, including ://about blank, Basement, Compound (LA), Distillery (Leipzig), OHM, Output (Brooklyn), Propaganda (Moscow), and Tresor, to name only a few.
