Under brilliant sunshine and filled with unstoppable passion the diverse cultures of many continents flow freely within the heart of St. Lucia. From such diversity comes a strength and desire to triumph that could never be stifled. This is best seen in two vital points of unity for this magnificent island.

Cricket and Zouk.

They were both birthed from the undeniable rebellion grown in the hearts of our ancestors.

Zouk combines pulsating African rhythms derived from the percussive soul of the vast continent with more recent western influences of Jazz, Blues, and Electronica, to create a music that builds a free party atmosphere and energy, which are impossible to quell.

Meanwhile, Cricket was brought to the island by colonists, but was perfected by islanders as they merged the natural strength and grace of their forefathers with these foreign rules of play to become fearsome giants in a game that is now loved the world over.

On Tuesday 6th August, when the lights go up in the Beausejour Stadium these two vibrant elements will be combined, as glorious Cricket will be fueled by Zouk rhythms and percussion to create West Indian history in the first ever Caribbean Premier League.

This assuredly momentous occasion has been embodied in the pulsating theme song, “Zouks On Fire”, sung by St. Lucia’s own Sir Lancealot, for the aptly named St. Lucia Zouks, led by Team Captain Darren Sammy.

The infectious song is sure to have the crowds cheering and singing along, encouraging the talented cricketers to take the grounds fired up and ready to charge ahead.

And as the conch shells signal the many 6’s and 4’s storming the field of play in this unique display of Carnival Cricket, St. Lucia’s heart and soul, heritage and culture, will be melded as fiercely together as the St. Lucia Zouks fans to its victorious players.

Never let it be said that Precision Productions does not know how to rouse that erotic heat, which goes hand in hand with TnT’s Carnival revelry.

In fact the team is now well known for flaring desires, by gathering flawlessly combustible materials together and applying a patented melodic jolt to ensure “Ignition”.

K.Rich initiates this tuneful sizzle as he expresses his longing in song, using salacious words from Josiah St. Lewis-Noray, for the tempting young lady in his line of sight to finally “Come Over” and fulfill the heated promises her supple movements have made.

Men can certainly attest to the heightened temperatures experienced during this season, and some like Akeem “Preedy” Chance spend all year “Dreaming” of the time when they can finally live out their fantasies. He has cleverly captured these torrid emotions alongside his writing partner Stephanas “Steffy” Ramgattie of WeMAD in this single.

Meanwhile in his first release with Precision, Flipo seductively executes an appreciative tribute to the women of our islands, who make all men “Sweat” whenever this music takes them over. The candid song was written by Jeremy Jacob in conjunction with Seumas “Flipo” Callender himself, and reveals exactly why moisture is always on the rise this time of year.

She is the only lady on this riddim but Destra Garcia, the proclaimed Queen of Bacchanal holds her own and delivers pure unrestrained lightning. The soul-baring lyrics by Akeem “Preedy” Chance and Stephanas “Steffy” Ramgattie of WeMAD, work in harmony with Destra’s vocals to reveal that women too are susceptible and lose their ability to “Breathe” in the face of ever present masculine charm.

This may be Precision's first riddim release however, if this start is any indication the team is clearly keen on keeping things smoldering all Carnival 2015 long.

Precision Productions, is a young in age but old in knowledge music production team based in San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago, which has collectively amassed just about 20 years in studio time and work experience .
