A year of discoveries. Thinking back through the last year, there has been a plethora of fantastic labels, and artists that have passed under the Sundays banner. This Sunday and month in general also marks the second year of monthly playlists, and guest mixes. The latter of which is our focus for today as we welcome an incredible producer, Inhmost. From beat to beat-less, his refined approach to crafting ambient mixes provides listeners with auditory tales that flow so well, all while working in a variety of moods and feelings. Lyon-based (FR) artist, Sanjib always guides listeners into an authentic and richly textured world between ambient and dub-techno. Eager to share electronic music focused on emotions, he creates a universe dedicated to travel and introspection with his mixes. After several EP’s released on @lett-records, Sanjib produced his first album "From Earth to Heaven" in 2018, a smooth and poetic techno opus warmly acclaimed by the public. His works appeared on Stellar Transitions, @preceptco, @crescent-london, and, more recently, @oslated.

Inhmost is one of the monikers of S.Huxtable who wanted a representation for the more ambient and downtempo works that he creates which would allow the freedom of expression within these genres, deep space atmospheres and otherworldly soundscapes are the order of the day.

Situated in the South West of England the local area provides the backdrop for inspiration with the coast and countryside allowing an escape into the wild for moments of reflection.

Inhmost has solo album releases with Stasis Recordings, RE:ST, La Luna, Huinali, Captured Visions, Short Trips and Tonights Dream Records as well as collaborating with ASC on projects for Auxiliary.

This summer, Monochrome is offering each month to one or several artists to discover their influences and inspirations through a forty-five minute to two hour recording. These three recordings will focus on Ambient, IDM and Deep Techno.

Artist biography :

Adhémar is a multidisciplinary artist, establishing his universe through music and plastic works. Constantly in search of the luminous quality of sounds, in a world made of shadows and lights, his music is closely linked to his plastic work.
This obsession with shadows leads him to think and create spaces, atmospheres that focus on the lightness and poetry of light. The idea of "narrative potential of music", allows to confront the psychological and philosophical journey with a particular report on what is alive and what surrounds us (whether it is the material world, immaterial, the fact that everything is in constant becoming). With a particular rigor for the transitions, whether in his own production or in his DJset, his universe is built little by little, according to the sound transformations.

Pregnant Void is a new division of Italian label Out-ER (Out Electronic Recordings) focussing on contemporary electroacoustic music, mean to imply advanced theoretical considerations and cultural projects as publications, books and seminars. The aforementioned sub-label releases only albums involves rising and notable figures particularly skilled in field recording and production techniques. The idea came when the label started investigating in the relation between sounds and emotions, how frequencies and sounds interact with living beings, collecting experts’ opinions, researches and experiments.
Pregnant Void represents a mysterious, natural space of our Globe. The word is used into the astrophysical area of interest to indicate an invisible world to our eyes but full of vibrations. Those same specific vibrations which contributed to create the Universe and, later on, the Planets surrounding the globe.
