A year of discoveries. Thinking back through the last year, there has been a plethora of fantastic labels, and artists that have passed under the Sundays banner. This Sunday and month in general also marks the second year of monthly playlists, and guest mixes. The latter of which is our focus for today as we welcome an incredible producer, Inhmost. From beat to beat-less, his refined approach to crafting ambient mixes provides listeners with auditory tales that flow so well, all while working in a variety of moods and feelings. ‘Conscious Listening’ is a new podcast series by Pregnant Void record label that explores soundscapes born from the connection between deep ethereal music and the most advanced electronic musical experiments. Inhmost is one of the monikers of S.Huxtable who wanted a representation for the more ambient and downtempo works that he creates which would allow the freedom of expression within these genres, deep space atmospheres and otherworldly soundscapes are the order of the day.

Situated in the South West of England the local area provides the backdrop for inspiration with the coast and countryside allowing an escape into the wild for moments of reflection.

Inhmost has solo album releases with Stasis Recordings, RE:ST, La Luna, Huinali, Captured Visions, Short Trips and Tonights Dream Records as well as collaborating with ASC on projects for Auxiliary.

Campfire Stories 85 (Cloudwalker) by Warmth

@segueambient is the name used by Jordan Sauer, an electronic music producer from Vancouver, BC. He creates ambient and dub-techno music with layers of field recordings, acoustic and electronic sounds, creating sonic soundscapes that conjure images of nature and emotions of peace and introspection. He has released numerous solo albums and collaborations with artists from around the world, including three LPs on the Silent Season record label. A high point of his career was the 2013 release of the dub-techno album Pacifica and the following performance at Mutek the following year, captured here in this live recording. In 2020, Jordan was commissioned by Canada’s Michael Smith Genome Sciences Centre to produce Gene Machines - an album based on field recordings and atmospheric sounds from one of the most advanced genetic research labs in Canada.

Presented as part of STREAM ON, a project by MUTEK, with the support of the Canada Council for the Arts.

Pregnant Void is a new division of Italian label Out-ER (Out Electronic Recordings).

The label started investigating in the relation between sounds and emotions, how frequencies and sounds interact with living beings, collecting experts’ opinions, researches and experiments.

Pregnant Void represents a mysterious, natural space of our Globe. The word is used into the astrophysical area of interest to indicate an invisible world to our eyes but full of vibrations. Those same specific vibrations which contributed to create the Universe and, later on, the Planets surrounding the globe.
